The combo of the mattress and powerbase have been fantastic. I love the 'weightless' setting. It took a little adjusting to the mattress but after a few weeks, I didn't want to get out of bed. I have given it four stars because some of the powerbase construction is a little less solid than I would like. It works great and was fine until I moved. I relocated shortly after buying the bed and the movers have some trouble with moving it because (a) the mattress doesn't have handles and (b) the outside edge of the powerbase isn't a solid material. Ultimately, the outside edge got a little bit bent out of shape during the move but thankfully I have a bed frame that the powerbase sits inside of and so it's not visible. It would be nice if the outside edge of the base were a bit more sturdy. Either way, loving the combo of the mattress and base.

I am super happy with the product that I purchased online without being able verify in person. The main selling point was its coolness as you sleep and that does not disappoint for someone who can sweat when he sleeps. That's huge. The gel texture is interesting on the surface but I am starting to prefer it. Delivery was spot on. Easy to deal with. My only thing is I wanted it to be a little firmer for a foam based mattress. That being said I am very happy with my decision. :)

I am a side sleeper, and also someone who works out on a daily basis, so I will typically have muscle soreness or stiffness from that on a regular basis. I had a friend who recommended this mattress to me, so I took a chance considering the 30 day no risk policy. Sadly, I did not ask for a refund within the first 30 days as what I came to discover is that this mattress seems to be on the firmer side and works well when I sleep on my back. Problem is, I typically sleep on my side, and for that, this is not the best mattress on the market in my honest opinion. It just doesn't have enough cushioning when I'm on my side, and I'd often wake up several times throughout the night because of this. In short, I would caution anyone who sleeps on their side away from this mattress and steer you toward a softer memory foam instead.

The first night was a nightmare for me. We received the mattress late December and it was left in our extremely cold garage for 4 days until we could get help to bring it in. I have bad arthritis and when I crawled in bed the first night, it was like diving into complete ice water. I tried laying on the top sheet for another layer between me and the mattress, but still my body was throbbing. To make a long story short, I ended up turning the electric blanket on high and sleeping on top of it, then putting other blankets on me. Finally, I was able to get a couple of hours of sleep. I left the electric blanket on high the entire next day to warm up the mattress. The second night was awesome. The moral of this story is, put the mattress inside to warm up for a few days if it's delivered in the winter, before trying to sleep on it with an arthritic body. Also, I was skeptical how I would adjust going from a pillow-top mattress to the purple mattress. Actually there was no adjusting at all and I actually can turn over from side to side, much more easily than I could on the pillow-top mattress.

I have a lot of back lower problems and the first 30-ish days went well and my lower back problems lessened but as a side-sleeper, the bed has now caused shoulder issues which has in turn started mid-back pain , sciatic pain and made the lower back problems significantly worse. I cannot spend another night on the bed. I so wanted this bed to work...very disappointed.

I received my Purple matress four days ago, and was prepared for a 30 day adjustment period before getting used to the mattress. I rarely write reviews, but was compelled to write this one because I am beyond thrilled about this find. I slept like a baby from Day one. I was experiencing back pain upon awakening, for the past three months. The first morning after the mattress arrived, and each morning since, I wake up completely pain free!!!!

Great value. Had a memory foam mattress from Ashley furniture. Cost twice as much 3 yrs ago. Pretty sure it caused me to have lower back pain. Received the purple mattress right after Christmas my back is feeling a lot better and also ordered the pillow and mattress protector. All great products

I have the unfortunate experience of having a not so perfectly designed spine. This makes finding a bed a pretty difficult thing to do. I can honestly say I spent years trying to find a mattress I wouldn't wake up hurting from. But after all this time I finally tried purple and I can honestly say I love it. The way its designed perfectly supports my body relieving tons of muscle aches and stress. I seriously sleep like a baby every night and I love it. Would highly recommend trying out this mattress!!

I bought a queen mattress for my 16 year old daughter, who had been sleeping on a bed that was older than she. Her day starts at 5:30 am & since purchasing this bed, she has been infinitely more pleasant in the morning because she's had such a better nights sleep. THANK YOU!!

I had seen many ads for competitors saying they have more 5star reviews and ratings for their mattress over the expensive Purple mattress. I was a bit hesitant to buy as I was afraid of spending a good bit of money on a Purple and being let down with an ok mattress. After a few weeks I can say we have never gotten better sleep than on the Purple mattress. I feel like I'm on a cloud - it really does cradle my pressure points. The Purple sheets are incredibly soft and move with you well. The mattress protector has not been tested yet! But I look forward to see how it holds up
