After doing a lot of research I thought I found the best replacement for our old mattress. We were so excited then we're greatly disappointed. I'm sure this mattress (original purple) would be be good for back sleepers, it's very much not good for side sleepers. My husband and I are both side sleepers and even after months of giving this mattress a try we just couldn't do it anymore. Even my husband, who can pretty much sleep on anything, was waking up with his back hurting. So disappointing! I hope the new purple is a better design for all those side sleepers out there who decide to try it. Wish we would have given up during the 100 night trial, but sadly we gave it more time hoping for it to get better.

I have been sleeping on my new bed for over three months now. I can honestly say this is the best bed I have slept on ever. I wake up rested, no sore bones and joints from poor support. Some nights I sleep the entire night in on position. I am currently living in the desert where the temperature is 110 plus everyday. The bed is not at all hot like all of the other foam beds I have tried. I can say this bed is worth the price. The bamboo sheets are something else. They are soft and stay put on the bed. All in all I would recommend the bed and the sheets to anyone who wants a good bed to get a great nights sleep.

We have been sleeping on ours for about a month now and I have never experienced a comfier mattress. I have awful lower back and hip pain and usually toss and turn all night, but with this mattress I have not. If you are questioning purchasing it, don't...you won't regret it after the first night. Just make sure to follow their advice about types of sheets to use! :)

After going through a few mattresses over the past years, i can finally say this ine feels just perfect. Laying on it feels different than conventional mattress or memory foam mattress. I trully get a good night sleep. Also love the fact that it remains at a good tempersture. I should point out that you need to air out this matress well. Their is a synthetic smell that could bother at first. However that being said, i still think it deserves a top rating.

I've had this mattress for a year, and I wake up every morning so happy that I bought this mattress! I tell everyone I know who is looking for a new mattress to give purple a serious look. I think I've sold at least 3. I couldn't be happier with this bed!

This is coming from someone who has stacked mattress toppers up for a bed for several years now, so anything from there is up! But, the Purple mattress is great. I use it on the floor. It's a little too heavy for me to drag to a different room if my apt. neighbors are too noisy, but that's what makes it a good bed. I kept my Therapedic topper because there is no place to roll it up and store it and it makes a nice addition. It fits my old sheets and that is good. Would I recommend it--absolutely! It is heavy so you will need some muscles to help with if you're like me, but I imagine it will be the last mattress I will ever buy.

This bed was the best investment I ever made got more sleep in this matress compare to any matress I've ever owned in my life time. Also this matress gives me a fresh day kinda feeling when I get up in the morning no more lower back pains when you wake up. I love it so much I bought the pillows, seat cushions and lumbar support with those to support my back and butt I feel like sitting on cloud.

I have had this mattress for 11 months. I rotate it monthly but I still noticed some sinking on my side. I had nights where I slept so hard I felt like I was asleep for 5 mins. It was magical and then I noticed the sagging. I emailed Purple to see, total shot in the dark and I was fortunate enough to have a new mattress on the way despite it being past 100 days. They truly take care of you and with the utmost professionalism. I will continue to recommend Purple to anyone who asks because the nights of amazing sleep I've gotten are so worth a couple that weren't so swell. Thank you team!!

It took my body a few weeks to adjust to the new mattress (to be expected) but now - it's perfect! I feel like it's a good combination of soft and firm. The mattress will mold to your body and support where needed. I'm highly impressed. Shipping and packaging was A+ and I was even able to bring it up and set it up by myself upstairs (don't recommend - it wasn't easy). I highly recommend trying this mattress if you're in the market for a new one!
