It's sweet but not overly, it does lack that saltiness of the OG but makes up for it in a roasted, smooth, honey taste. Packaging is similar but this right here is a bang for your buck and will calm that sweet tooth craving.

They are supposed to be honey roasted flavor but it must be subtle because I honestly can't tell the difference from the normal flavor. Maybe these seem a bit more crunchy than usual. Still tastes great. The packaging is of their classic designs, typical of what they would use. Instantly know the brand at first glance if I was on the run

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try these honey roasted M&Ms because I’m a huge fan of regular peanut M&Ms and wanted to try something different. The first thing I noticed was that these don’t have the usual bright colors - they’re just yellow and dark brown, which actually looks more natural and appealing. When I checked the ingredient list, I was disappointed to see Red Dye 40 and other artificial colors still listed. It seems misleading that they look more natural but still contain the same dyes, just maybe not used in the coating. Taste-wise, they’re definitely yummy with that sweet honey flavor. But honestly, I’d probably still reach for regular peanut M&Ms first - there’s something about the classic version that just hits different. These are good for a change of pace, but they didn’t blow me away enough to make them​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ my new go-to.

For M&Ms that usually means I am sticking with the regular M&Ms or just Peanut if I am being wild. So I was skeptical in trying the honey roasted flavor. What a pleasant surprise. I LOVE this flavor. It is subtle so not overpowering but at the same time it’s a little something more than just regular peanut. I’d totally buy these again.

These Honey Roasted Peanut M&M’s were different and caught me off guard at first. I tried them again and really liked them. I shared them with my family and we all gave it a try. Each of us enjoyed them and my teenage son couldn’t get enough. He loved them.

They have a very similar taste with a hint of honey, so no complaints because the regular peanut ones are very good, but these do add another dimension that makes them even better, even though somewhat similar. I would definitely buy them again and hope they offer them in a larger family size pack.
