[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited when I received this! It smells great and not over powering. I did take it to my daughter’s dorm so she and her roommates could use it. They all loved it and asked for more. So sounds like I’m buying more and trying other scents!

I normally love lavender and vanilla bean, so I had high hopes for the Febreze PLUG Scent Booster Starter Kit in Downy Calm. While the scent is okay, it comes off as more fake and overly strong rather than calming or natural. The booster feature definitely amplifies the smell, which might work better for other fragrances, but this one was overwhelming, especially in a small space like my bathroom. I’d recommend trying it in a larger room for a more balanced effect or experimenting with a different scent. It has potential, but this particular one wasn’t quite what I hoped for.

It smells amazing! I will definitely go out and purchase more. I love the lavender vanilla scent! It is a very relaxing aroma. They have different scents so whatever scent appeals to you, you’ll be able to find.

The instructions were easy enough to understand and it went together quickly. As for effectiveness… I’m not so sure, it is a larger room, so I’m going to turn it up a notch and see if that helps. It could also just be a weak scent.

I wish it was battery operated that way I can put it anywhere and not have to worry about an awkward cord in the way or having to have an outlet near by. But the scent is wonderful and fills a decent sized room. Great Buy!

The Boost Button is a nice touch when I want a stronger smell, and the long cord makes it easy to place anywhere. When guests come by, they always comment on how nice it smells. Definitely recommend it!
