[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing I don't like is no #'s on the remote and the voice activation doesn't seem to know what an individual channel is. Like, " turn to channel 12" doesn't produce a response, everything else is pretty cool.

The picture quality is great and the sound quality is good. But, I wanted to make operation as simple as possible. She watches cable TV and DVDs. I wanted to zet it up so she could easily switch between the two inputs. But, you can't eliminate the home screen and some of the built in apps. The apps maybe great, but I should be able to hide all of them if I don't want to use them. Unfortunately, it seems most TV manufacturers are doing this now.

The apps that are built in are amazing. Connecting it to my Wi-Fi was very simple and the on screen instructions made the whole processvry quick. I highly recommend these products. Next purchase will be a sound bar for enhanced viewing pmeas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Vizio, my first one was just a simple TV used as a computer monitor and lasted 10 years, it's still working but starting to throw some shadows now and then, so I thought it was time for an upgrade. Went from 42 in to 50 in and, never having had a smart tv, I was duly impressed by all the options. Had my prime channel up and running in no time, took me a bit to figure out how to connect my computer (if you have VGA, you need to get a VGA to HDMI cable. It does help to read the manual, lol. Very happy with my purchase.

I purchased a new smart Vizio that was same size for a small fraction of the cost 15 years ago + it weighed only 30 lbs. My old Vizio took 2 strong men and a small boy to move while I can lift and move the new one by myself. All I needed to do was plug in the TV and it was ready to go...no muss, no fuss. Superb color video and excellent sound. No regrets, a wise purchase.

So i decided since I had such great luck with the last one I'd give them another try. The picture quality was always great, and this TV saw lots of"screen time". They earned my respect by a mile. I also use the Vizio surround sound, so two thumbs up... and 5 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made this purchase off if past experiences with Vizio. I was downgrading the size for better quality. We bought a Vizio back in 2012 and lasted over 12 years. The upgraded version has better picture quality and so much more functionality.
