Vizio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my TV. It's a 50 inch and a smart TV vizio. I had one for years, then for Christmas my kids bought me a new one. Different brand., I won't name the brand. I had more problems with that tv. Kept shutting off, freeze up. It cost alot more but I hated it. I got the vizio a week ago. It works perfect, it's not so dark and the sound it very good.i love my vizio

A great value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had it for less than a week, but so far so good. The picture quality is so much better than my old TV, and the price was very reasonable. Set-up was very easy. I used the suggested settings for picture and sound.... Excellent !

Terrible tv

Loved my first one but this one is ridiculous starting with remote. The included remote has no volume toggle. You have to download an app. If you want to have ful access to the tv you have to do a Vizio account so they can harvest and sell your data. I consider it a piece of junk. Taking it back to the store

nice picture, but apps are lacking

The Good: great quality picture, easy mounting, good looking bezel. The Bad: App store is missing a web browser app. I probably would not have bought this I knew that was missing. Also, I'm not seeing a spotify app. Thirdly, there is no way to change the screen's aspect ratio while casting from Airplay or Chromecast so unless you have a device that is 16:9 proportions (which most phones/tablets are not), you can't cast full screen which really stinks.

My First Vizio Experience

Super Smart TV with everything you need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a Vizio to replace a Hisense. The difference is very noticeable. You would not need to buy a streaming box with all the apps included. Has three HDMI connections and a USB port and optical input. The remote control is minimal in design, not overwhelming keyboard, keyboard is a popup on screen. The tv sound speakers are not tinny sounding. It is suppose to replicate surround sound but missed on that. The picture is great for a 65" TV with various setting. My only knock is if you are not familiar with smart tv functions their will be a learning curve. It's not intuitive, but every smart tv mfg is the same. Read the online manual will make it easier. If you are tech savvy, the TV is easy to use.

This was necessary, but not life changing.

One day before football season, my old T.V. gave up its will to live. I just want to watch football. So, I had to buy a new tv. Corporate greed and NFL profit now makes it hard for me to watch football. What used to be free on my local channels is now an upgrade I cannot afford.

Awesome TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband recently passed away unexpectedly and I could no longer afford cable. Purchased this TV when it was Amazon’s Prime Day. I feel like a kid at Christmas. I can now cancel the burden of that expensive cable bill and have so many more options of what I can watch. Highly recommend this Vizio TV!

Okay but disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought another Vizio because our last Vizio lasted 10 years. The picture and specially the sound quality was very poor. Bought this based on previous reviews. The sound sounds like it's coming out of a plastic box. Might have to get a sound bar. Viewing video thru the built in app is also poor quality
