[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mhave always liked Vizio, so when I finally decided to purchase my first smart TV, I chose the Vizio 50" smart TV. It takes some getting used to, but I am figuring it out. Not too fond of the voice remote. Don't think it's necessary. The picutre and sound are decent. Since I don't have/want cable, the number of free TV channels are outstanding!!!! Overall it was a good purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a V4K43M-0801 so that I could develop an app on the SmartCast platform and I have to say that the overall experience has been refreshing. The OS performs well on this device, and it has one of the best user experiences I have had on a smart tv in a while. Vizio packs on a ton of features without you feeling overwhelmed. The initial setup is slow and cumbersome, because when you first connect to the network it spends a few minutes pulling over the air updates, but after you get started the OS asks you a few questions to customize your experience. The home screen gives you access to some of the most popular streaming apps, and some of of their own free content to get you going right away. Within a matter of minutes I started watching Space Jam, it was one of their free movies. So far my favorite thing about the user experience are the quick settings, I love that I was able to quickly pair bluetooth headphones from the quick menu, select a picture profile, and manage a few other settings in a matter of seconds. When opening the expanded menu you could make custom picture settings and store them with your own profile name. This further elevated the experience of the quick menu because it let me create settings for dim late night viewing, and setting for bright day time viewing. The OS seems like it was designed for people who like to tinker with TV settings. The TV itself was pretty good, I enjoy the picture quality and the finish of the panel. Overall don't have any complaints with the backlight, inputs, and the overall experience. Pretty good value for the price. Overall I enjoyed the snappy UI, and hope it stays like that with updates to come.

i bought this two weeks ago. I find the operation difficult and not well thought out. It turns itself on sometimes an hour after it is shut off. Went totally blank after about a week and is not at all easy to reset all passwords etc. All in all do not like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just replced a smaller, older Vizio with a 50-inch. Vizio. The picture is much sharper wit a lot more depth. I have some hearing loss so I would like to be able to get a little moe volume but all in all, I am very happy with the TV. It hs all fo the channels I am an feature I am used to so There is not learning curve.

I feel like a kid at Christmas. I can now cancel the burden of that expensive cable bill and have so many more options of what I can watch. Highly recommend this Vizio TV!

Vizio has brought their A game when it comes to entertainment. The Tv’s are crystal clear, the sound is amazing with out a sound bar, but if you like the movie theater experience at home, then go with the vizio soundbar as it is also top notch quality.

Love the free channels it comes with as I don’t do cable satellite or streaming! Amazing product y’all have for an amazing price 10 out of 10 recommend
