These shorts are a nice synthetic material that repels water pretty good. They have a built in inner short similar to a boxer brief. The inner liner isn’t tight enough that I would consider it a built in boxer brief. These should be good for water sports

They sit just above the knee so they're not super short but not as long as some other shorts. They also have a liner which is helpful to prevent unwanted chafing.
