[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Dawn Powerwash for free in exchange for my honest review, but I’d already been using it before the offer and have really liked it. It’s by far the most effective way I’ve found to get greasy dishes clean without needing to soak them or scrub endlessly. The spray foams up right away, cuts through stuck-on messes better than anything else I’ve used, and makes quick work of everything from baking dishes to greasy pans. It actually makes cleaning a lot faster and easier. But here’s what I don’t like: the refills are needlessly wasteful. The refill bottles use a ton of plastic and feel like single-use throwaways. It makes no sense that a product trying to save time and resources in the kitchen can’t offer a more sustainable refill option. Or at the very least, I wish each refill container held more than one refill’s worth so I wasn’t buying new plastic every time. Bottom line: I’m obsessed with how well it works, but every time I buy a refill, I wish there was a smarter way to cut down on the plastic waste.

I already love this item, and have been using it daily for a couple years now. I love how it cuts through grease and dispenses so easily in the perfect amount. It’s also easy to use with the spray bottle and the way it sprays onto things. A little goes a long way. It’s also good on clothes and appliances as well. I like the packaging design because the nozzle can be used again when you’ve run out and are ready for a refill so there’s less waste. I was really excited to try this new scent, summer watermelon. I really like it! I like that it’s fresh and fruity without being too artificial and overpowering. Already feeling like summer at home with this new scent. I think this is a great product and a great value and would recommend this product in the original form and the summer watermelon sent to all.

The Watermelon smell can be a little overwhelming for me but other than that I do recommend this product. I probably would try another scent. The spray bottle its in makes it easy when you’re ready to clean up.

My husband does most of the dishes (begrudgingly), and he says this product makes it so much easier that he doesn’t mind washing dishes as much as he used to. It’s nice that it can be used with one hand—trying to grab a normal dish soap bottle with wet hands can be slippery and difficult. And the scent is nice and fresh, without being overpowering. We’ve seen some really fun scents in stores, like pine scent for holidays. The Powerwash does seem to work really well too, with an even spray that minimizes the amount of scrubbing needed. We’ll definitely be buying this again, I just wish they sold replacement soap so we didn’t need to buy a whole new plastic bottle every time.
