Don't waste your money, buy Jacks pizza or digorno if they have it. Definitely will not be purchasing again. Lacked flavor, even though there was a good amount of toppings and the sauce was very bland. cooked according to instructions and it came out doughy. Next time I made it, I cooked it 3/4th of the way down the oven and it was less doughy but still not very good. super disappointed.

For any self-respecting Detroiter, this does NOT resemble Detroit-style pizza. It is doughy, tasteless and missing the caramelized cheese on the crust. Unless I looked at it, I never would have known that it had sauce. I am someone who grew up in Detroit appreciating Louie's, Shield's and Buddy's. They represent true Detroit-style pizza. Now that I live in PA, I search for Motor City brand frozen pizza to get closer to the real deal.

I was excited to try this Detroit-style deep dish pizza because the picture on the box looked amazing — thick crust, tons of pepperoni, cheesy goodness. What I got instead was an unexpected indoor barbecue experience. I followed the instructions exactly. About 10 minutes into baking, my oven started smoking like it was auditioning for a role in a wildfire documentary. Soon the whole apartment was filled with smoke and my smoke detector joined the party. When the timer finally went off, I discovered the pizza had somehow achieved two impossible states at the same time: • Burned solidly onto the tray with char marks everywhere • Still undercooked in the center The crust had basically fused to the tray like it had signed a lifetime contract, and the middle looked like it needed another 20 minutes. Sadly, the pizza never made it to a plate — it went straight from oven to trash. End result: I had to leave the apartment to buy pizza somewhere else while airing out my kitchen. On the bright side, if you’re looking for a pizza that doubles as a smoke machine and tray-welding experiment, this one might be for you.

It is just NOT a good pizza, really disappointed. Was on the fence because it was so generic looking and it's not a members mark product. At least when I make the 2nd one I will know to add some cheese and that might help but the crust is tough and not very good.

STOP! THIS IS NOT Members Mark! read the back, it clearly shows its from "Richs" in NY... Is it as good as Motor City Deep Dish? No.. BUT! For the price? Not bad. The Meat pizza has a decent amount of pepperoni, and other meats. cheese is a decent portion. the crust is bland, and kinda... well, its there. for the price? its good for kids that need fed cheap.. for adults? go across the lot to walmart, go to the freezer section, while headed that way, smack ur hands for not doing this sooner...get motor city deep dish. Again, dont blame Sams Club cause people cant read the back and see that it is NOT Members Mark.

The edges were crunchy as I wanted but I felt the pizza needed more sauce. the pizza had plenty of pepperoni that was nice. When I bake the second pizza, I may add sauce to see if that is better. I will probably purchase again if I see that helps. The packaging and dish to cook in made it really easy.

Better than I expected from a frozen pizza! Compared to other reviews, I thought there was lots of cheese and pepperoni! The cheese melted over the edge to give it a pan pizza experience. My only change would be Detroit style pizza has the sauce on the top! Pretty darn good!

I received a reimbursement for this product to leave an honest review. This was so much better then most frozen pizzas I've tried. It ddin't have that super processed plasticy taste. It tasted fresh and I loved the crispy cheese on the outside. I would definitely be buying in the future.

This was a great price! I personally have a hard time with pepperoni because some pizza companies use cheap stuff that leaves an gross aftertaste but that was not the case for this pizza. It was so good! I also loved the amount of cheese. The only negative thing I can say is that I not a fan of how it cooks because it feel like it cooks too fast on the outside and stays uncrispy in the middle so I had to switch the pizza to my bottom oven shelf to get the middle to get crispy but it was worth it.

When you unwrap them, (you get two in the box) just take your fingers and scoop up any loose cheese and sprinkle it back on the top of the pizzas where it belongs. They bake up nicely, if you bake at the lower end of the time it will be a bit more doughy inside and not so if you bake to the end of the recommended time. We enjoy this because this style of pizza does not have hard crunchy crust. There is plenty of sauce on the pizza but it's not over done, there is an ample amount of cheese and pepperoni. We cut the pizza into four very large pieces and we used both pizzas to feed four of us. I will buy this again and you should definitely try it if you haven't tried it yet! It's an upgrade from the “regular” frozen pizzas.
