Beyond Expectation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first French Door Counter Depth refrigerator and wasn't sure how we would adjust, but love the setup. Love the door in door feature, the cocktail ice maker, the dual zone drawer and how fresh vegetables stay in the drawers. All the features are great.

Easily scratchable

First I want to say, I love this fridge. It's fun, shiny, lots of different ice, and the middle full convert drawer and instaview is awesome. 3 days after getting it, however, I was putting a couple magnets on it from my fridge before. One of them had a stronger hold than the others and when I moved it, the area got scratched. By a magnet. While the scratches are light, you can still see them in the light. Also, it's supposed to be fingerprint resistent and you can see lots of prints (mostly on the handles). I'm keeping the fridge because I love it, but..I'm so bummed. Hopefully I can find a way to buff the scratches out or get a light paint for it.

Beyond amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We can not say enough about how great this fridge is. The craft ice is a crowd pleaser! The door in door is used all the time. Space inside is complete maximized. We chose the counter depth model and we get the same amount of food in it compared to our older fridge. Truly a fantastic fridge that I am proud to have! We had it for 6 months with no issues.

Cheaply made and breaks easily

Had this refrigerator 6 months and it says to replace the air filter. I watch the video on how to do it, rotate the cover counterclockwise like it says and the tabs break of making the entire air filter useless. Hate this refrigerator and all the cheap plastic parts that don’t last.

Door Mullions Design Failure?

The fridge itself seems very solid, stylish and functional, however we discovered a major design flaw. When you open the ice side door, the mullion (the seal flapper piece) doesn't retract the way it supposed to and you fridge will be left with a gap in the middle and the fridge won't detect this problem by beeping or anything. The only way for the mullion to retract is to gently close that door with almost dead speed.....

Unique Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're very impressed with the unique features this refrigerator offers. The ability to see inside the refrigerator without opening the door, along with the door-in-door feature is a real energy saver. We particularly like the Craft Ice, and the metered water dispenser.

DON'T DO IT class actions in effect

these products look good but that's about it, the compressors don't live up to their expected time, 5 years means 1, I've had mines repaired at least once a year and they don't inform you that in order for the to count the repairs that you have to go through them for a refund, it's Aug 2024, I purchased these products in 2019 and I've had repairs done every year on the refrigerator; twice this year; they will just keep putting the same fault compressors and other parts on their products instead of upgrading the products; again, there are class actions on this trash

Poor temp control in door shelves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just ourchased. Very disappointed with the performance of temperatures in the instaview doormshelves, They usually range from 40-45 degrees when the refrigerator is set to 36. Would not recommend.

Real like it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 6 weeks into ownership and this refrigerator is rocking. The two ice makers work fantastically and the craft ice tray stays empty because everyone loves it (can only make 6 per day). The interior is also well spaced and has a lot of room. The freezer loses a little space due to the 2nd craft ice maker but it is worth the sacrifice.

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG Refrigerator (LRMVC2306S) model. It’s awesome to hear that it’s been “rocking” after six weeks. The dual ice makers are a standout feature of this unit, and it’s great that both the regular ice and craft ice are a hit in your home. The spacious interior layout is designed for easy organization, and many customers find the small freezer space trade‑off worth it for the added craft ice maker—glad to hear it works well for you too. If you need further assistance, feel free to email lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. #LifesGood ❤️ LG Digital Care Team ^Juvy

Very happy with this purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be sure, this is on expensive side but it's well worth it. Especially when you consider that you probably use your refrigerator far more than anything else in your home. We've only had it for a few months, but it's been completely reliable - no issues. The lighting is great, the craft ice is a feature we really like, as is the 2nd door, which can be set for use as another refrigerator compartment, or another freezer compartment. The freezer is ample, so we've only used it at refrigerator temperature. The door-in-door is nice, but it does require some thought as to what you should put in there. The idea is to use it for items that you use frequently so you reduce the number of times you need to open the whole refrigerator compartment. The 'knock knock' feature (to see what's inside) is kind of gimmicky to be honest. The ice maker is *really* good. It makes plenty of ice, though I'll need to see how it does during the hot summer months before I give it a final score. Honestly, my only complaint is that the 'buttons' on the ice/water dispenser you use to select ice, water, or crushed ice, are not well designed. They're not physical buttons, and not well defined, so I frequently find myself having to press several times to find the right spot. All in all, I would highly recommend this!
