Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this fridge for one year now. So far I’m very happy overall. The middle drawer is very handy and the interior layout functions well. Most of all I absolutely love the door-in-door feature. At first I thought it was a bit gimmicky but I have since found it to be so very useful. Great for quick to grab or frequently used items. On the negative side, the ice maker is a bit small and I’ve had issues with the Craft Ice machine. In fact it will be getting replaced under warranty in a day or two. Overall though... very pleased.

Living in Luxury: My New Love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is packed with innovative features that have elevated my everyday life, and two stand out as absolute winners: the Craft Ice™ maker and the InstaView® door. The Craft Ice™ maker is the undisputed star of this refrigerator. It produces three glorious types of ice: crushed, cubed, and slow-melting spheres. Let me tell you, those spheres are a revelation. They're perfect for cocktails, mocktails, even just a fancy glass of iced tea. They melt slower, diluting your drinks less, and their unique shape chills more evenly, resulting in an unparalleled refreshment experience. he InstaView® door is another stroke of genius. No more blindly rummaging through the fridge, wondering what lurks in the back. With a simple two-tap on the glass panel, the interior illuminates, allowing you to see exactly what you need without ever opening the door. But the magic doesn't stop there. The 23 cu. ft. capacity is surprisingly spacious, easily accommodating all my groceries. The Full-Convert™ drawer offers flexible storage with five temperature settings, perfect for anything from meats to delicate fruits. And the ThinQ® app connectivity allows me to remotely monitor and adjust settings, ensuring my food stays perfectly chilled no matter where I am.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my refrigerator a few weeks and love it! The door in door and the middle drawer are the best! I can easily access the things I use the most in the door in door without opening the whole refrigerator! I use the middle drawer for meats and cheeses, also accessed a lot! The ice options are nice too!

What I've been waiting for!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Swore I would never get another top freezer/bottom fridge. Left it behind when we moved. Inherited a side by side in our new house which was even worse, trying to alternately place and find stuff in tiny little cubby holes, and no room to move anything aside in the fridge. The new French door LG has 1/2 cubic foot more space, but all the space is infinitely more useable. The convertible middle drawer is such a great feature, we can't even make up our minds whether it is to be more fridge space or more freezer. There is nothing we don't like about it, and only one improvement I could suggest: allow for finer shelf height adjustment. And I can certainly live with the shelves as is. This one is home run.

Great features and use of space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the (1) relative proportion of available space used for the quick access compartment and (2) the versatility provided by the middle compartment. I am accessing the quick access compartment much more than I anticipated. I expect that this will help keep my consumption of electric power down. This compartment is roomy and allows me to store a good deal of frequently used items for quick retrieval. I really like the idea that I can use the middle compartment to expand either the freezer or refrigerator compartments by electronic push buttons. Great job providing smart alternatives for the use of the appliance.

Good so far... fingers crossed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an LG french door fridge that had issues with the freezer door staying closed prior to purchasing this new model. Keeping our fingers crossed, we don't have any issues with all of its electronics and features. Although the tap on glass light up feature is fun, it definitely wasn't a mandatory. I noticed space is very limited in the fridge, especially for condiments (ketchup, hot sauces, dressings, etc) due to the ice/water dispenser on the left side. You can only fit tall items on the right side of the door and/or one of the glass shelves has a half slide back option to allow a little bit of room on the main shelf. Middle shelf for deli meats/cheeses/etc is a nice touch, especially since you can adjust the temp depending on what you want to put in there. The craft ice feature is a bit slow to produce but the ice is great for cocktails. This feature also takes up a good amount of space in the freezer. Pros: Its a beautiful fridge, the quick access door on the right has been super convenient for accessing the day to day items. The fridge has been doing what its supposed to be doing; keeping food/drinks cold, dispensing water and ice. Cons: Its noisy and I can hear some sort of vibration/low rattling. I've moved around items in the fridge and it seems to eliminate some of the noise, but I didn't expect to be able to hear it running. Also, I noticed a tiny bit of frost build up in the freezer. Hoping this doesn't become an issue over time since this is what killed our last LG fridge.

Excellent Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this 9 months ago. We like the access door and the ice maker. The fridge had a rattle in the motor for a while. We called and they said to defrost it and said they would send instructions. I never got them but my wife was cleaning it out and left it open for a while. It's never happened again since then. The freezer door didn't close well when we first received it but it may have just been us getting used to it. Seems to be fine now. We like the fridge.

LG Instaview Refrigerator

The refrigerator has been designed efficiently to make daily usage easy convenient. Insta door or preview door is awesome to just open the door rack and interact with frequently used items like milk, juice and creamer. The two drawers for the freezer are quite deep and provide ample space for frozen food items and ice creams. The two vegetable drawers doors open to consolidated shelves from left to right providing enormous space to keep practically anything.

not that impressed

I bought an entire kitchen and washer and dryer from LG and have had nothing but problems with all of them. New part needed in dishwasher, repair needed on refrigerator, and my clothes washer has been not functional for over three months. Imagine living for over three months while LG tries to repair a brand new clothes washer! Particularly disturbing is the dents that were in my newly delivered refrigerator. I am working on having all repaired under my one year warranty. Annoying.

French door LG Refrigerator

I received this 2 1/2 weeks ago. The only drawback I feel this refrigerator has is that the freezer door and bottom freezer draw are connected and come out together. It cannot fully extend on its own. If you have something wide to put in, you will not be able too. Everything else is perfect.
