I applied this to damp hair and then just took my time passing the brush over my hair till it was dry and the results were phenomenal. Now when using this on dry hair with a straightener I did not have the same luck. Maybe because my blond undercut is too bleached but my hair felt like straw after use. The top of my hair which is not color treated felt fine but not its best condition. I would re purchase since I prefer blowing out my hair.
