I naturally have thick, wavy/curly/frizzy hair and use heat from my blow dryer and straightener every other day. I’ve been searching for an effective heat protectant that doesn’t smell bad, or leave residue in my hair. I’ve gone through a lot of hair protectant products that were aimed for the type of hair I had, but they either left my hair dry and damaged, made my hair greasy or left a residue in my hair that made it look like I had dandruff in my hair. This is one of the only hair protectants that works for my hair type and makes my hair look healthier after using it. I set my straightener to 400F and it protects my hair very well and leaves it silky smooth and shiny afterwards. It doesn’t have a weird strong chemical smell and I like how the bottle sprays an even mist of the product into my hair.

I personally wasn’t too fond of this heat protectant since my hair didn’t feel moisturizing or “soft” after use multiple times. I really tried to love it. My current routine consists of protein in my conditioner, and believe that with this addition in my routine my hair gets an overload of protein even after clarifying it. The fragrance of this heat protectant is really strong not in a bad way but does linger a bit after application just to note. I recommend this heat protectant for those who aren’t sensitive to protein in their hair products and for those who are looking for bond repair paired with heat protectant✨

My hair is more manageable when I'm brushing and styling it, and i have less breakage overall. Since my hair is very thick, i need to set my straightener to 425° and this spray covers temperatures up to 450°F, making it a perfect match for my hair.
