The wood is really cheap and started splitting within the first month. And that’s after I even sprayed a protective coating over it. Wishing the quality was better on this

I didn't realize until after I bought this that it says the wood is untreated and you can choose to treat it (or cover) to protect it from the weather. This seems like a really poor design choice for a toy that is literally meant to be hooked up to water. The assembly was also not great- pieces did not line up easily and several pieces on mine wound up being pretty uneven. One of the pre-assembled pieces of wood also started coming loose during assembly. It does not feel super sturdy and I imagine that pieces will start breaking after a while. all that said, I got this on clearance and it's a cute toy that my kids are excited about. We are going to seal the wood and hope that it can hold up for a while. I would definitely not pay full price for this item, and even at half off I wish the wood wouldve been pretreated.

Agree with other reviews that mud kitchens elsewhere are overpriced and this is a good deal. Takes a second to get things to fit (step one is meant to fit tight, so you’ll have to work it in). Where some screws never lock in, others punch through the wood if you over tighten. But it’ll last a few seasons with a coat of water sealant, I think.

Do not buy. Falls apart despite perfectly putting it together. Wiggles. Ended up just tossing it. What a waste

Hated every second of putting this together. Wood is cheap and directions suck. Time will tell how long it lasts, but I give it a week tops.

Absolutely love this wooden mud kitchen! It is aesthetically pleasing, well-made, and fits perfectly on our backyard patio. My son loves all the realistic details, especially the stovetop with turning knobs, the chalkboard, and the cute hanging gardening tools. It’s the perfect height for him and keeps him happily engaged in outdoor sensory play for hours. Great quality and totally worth the purchase

I want to love this so bad because it is so cute but for the price the quality is awful. I should have known when the leg was broken off on the store display that I should pass on it but I was desperate to get an affordable mud kitchen for my daughter. There were several wood slats that were coming apart when I took the parts out, that I had to secure myself. Some of the wood cracked when I was screwing parts together and I really don’t have high hopes of it being weather resistant. The magnet that keeps the oven closed doesn’t work and the oven is always popping open. Definitely a waste of money.

This is perfect for a mud kitchen for toddlers! It was easy to assemble and helps to spark imagination playing outdoors! I’m not sure what all the negative reviews are for if you were in the market to find a mud kitchen, I would totally buy this one. It is very reasonably priced and does the job.
