These are cute shorts but they feel very stiff. My daughter didn't care for them. I got the dark blue. I do like that it has pockets that can be zipped and even though the material feels stiff it seems like it could be great outdoor clothes for hiking.

These are better than expected! I got them for my daughter to wear camping/hiking. The material seems like water would roll off. They are not very thick but not see through at all and seem like they will stand up well to outdoor wear. The zipper pockets are nice and deep. I like the loose fit in the legs. I do think they run a little on the large side.

My daughter loves the fit of these shorts. She is very active and likes that they fit well and she can move in them. I like that they wash well and I can get stains out easily. My daughter is between size 8 and 10 so we got a 10 and it fits perfectly.

These shorts have stretch in the waistband. The material is very rough and scratchy. I'm worried how much this will rub my daughters' legs in the summer time. They aren't clingy which is good, especially if they get wet. These may chaff in the heat though.

I was having doubts about these shorts when I first saw them because of the texture but I was wrong. My daughter loves them. She loves that she can stretch in them without a problem. She says they are very comfortable (didn't want to wear them at first😂) and now she wants to wear them all the time. The zipper pockets are amazing! She can keep stuff in the pockets without having to worry she will lose her things.

These shorts are made out of top quality material. The fact that they are Bio-dry, bio-anti-order, abrasion resistant, and UPF 50+ protection, made me purchase them. They will definitely be worn for a long time, and the material is so soft, they will be comfortable to wear.

Outdoor Voices has become a new go-to brand for me. I got these shorts for my daughter to use when running and exercising. They're comfortable and not flimsy. They allow for freedom of movement but still provide good coverage and modesty. Clearly a well-made product.

These kids' shorts are a mixed bag, with some solid wins and a few noticeable downsides. If sun protection and quick-dry performance are your top priorities, these shorts are worth considering. But if your child cares most about comfort and softness, you might want to explore other options or use these primarily for outdoor or water-related activities.

These shorts aren't what we thought they would be. The material was very rough. Almost stiff and not comfortable. My daughter does not want to wear them. The waistband is also very big and bulky. Will leave the imprints on skin if too snug. I would not recommend.

These shorts will be great for hiking and outdoor activites. My daughter loved the texture. They seem high quality and are made of Heavy duty material like Columbia or Patagonia. They do run a bit big. She regularly wears size 10, and these are 10/12 and quite big around the waist and legs. We could probably still get away with a 7/8 in the short term.
