You do not need much and it is soft, velvety and feels almost like a very soft fine cloth. It does the job with little effort. My septic tank graciously receives it with not problem. I am convinced with Charmin that it is the softest. It is soft enough to use on your face if you are not near any facial tissue. I really felt like a queen on her stool with the best help in town.

I am not impressed with it. It falls apart when you wipe with it. It's great for facial tissue, to blow you nose on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the same brand for many years and did not really ever think about switching. After receiving Charmin Ultra Soft from Charmin, I found out what I have been missing. Their claim that you can use less is actually true. I found that I could use quite a bit less because the paper is a little thicker and much softer than my current brand. I have always been concerned about clogging issues, but so far there have not been any issues. I really do not foresee any issues either, because I am using less paper than before. Overall I am very pleased with this product and the softness it provides.

I expected for the roll to run out easily but it seemed to last longer than the brand I normally use (cottonelle). In the past I remember excess lint being a problem as well, but it wasn't a problem with this toilet paper! Awesome! I would buy this kind in a heartbeat!

As always, we recently purchased the Ultra Soft Mega pack of Charmin. Very disappointed in, at this point, in 4 rolls of the first package of 8. You get down to a certain point and the sheets on the roll are rippled and when you get down further the roll starts to shred into small pieces. Your usual good quality reputation is lessened somewhat. No moisture whatsoever was involved. Original packaging all intact.

I bought Charmin as always, last month. To say the least I'm not at all pleased with this New Scalloped Edge. I have been using Charmin for years and now I will have to make a change. The Scalloped Tear Edge Is absolutely terrible. It seems to tear at one sheet when unrolling it. It happens every single time I use it. It's not good When you unroll to use and it tears at the very first sheet and this is a problem to say the least. Oh Well I Guess I'm forced to make a Change, after being a Charmin Customer for many years. This is really hard to do as I really dislike other Toilet Tissue.. The paper is truly ultra soft - which is extremely important when you are dealing with delicate parts! I've found that Charmin Ultra Soft is also very strong - again important because who wants to end up with a soiled hand? The fact that the roll is 4x the size of the leading competitor's is helpful in that I don't have to be messing around with changing the roll as often.

I love the product for many reasons most of all, how it feels against the skin and the softness. Plus no left over residue. The only negative i find in it, is the size. the mega roll does not fit my toilet paper dispenser holder. to tight of a squeeze and could not roll the tube and get my toilet paper off of the roll while on the holder. so i had to use it while sitting on the counter top until it reached the size of a normal double roll.

I always bought the double roll size but these rolls are even bigger. These rolls seem to last much longer also since I'm using much less paper to get the job done!
