I have used Charmin Ultra Soft for many years and have been very satisfied until now. Apparently, I am not the only one dissatisfied. People are telling you the product is not the same, please listen to what is being said and check into it. Something had to of changed or customers would not be complaining.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to try and I really liked it. I typically purchase really inexpensive toilet paper, so this was a real treat for me. What I really liked most is that right off the bat you could tell that it was strong paper by just touching it. When I used the toilet paper, it didn't break, which is what I usually encounter with the cheaper brands I use. It also was extremely soft and as a woman who drinks a lot of water and has to use the restroom a dozen times in two hours, I felt that was extremely important! The double rolls would make it last longer, which could save on cost. I would definitely lean towards replacing my current toilet paper with Charmin if I had coupons to bring the cost down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like Charmin Ultra Soft toilet paper and was fortunate to try it for free as part of a BzzAgent campaign. I was sent a 4-Mega Roll package as part of my Bzzkit. What I liked about Charmin Ultra Soft was that it really was soft and gentle on my privates and bottom. It didn't leave residue and wasn't linty. There was the appropriate amount of cushion and absorption, and it was strong enough to do the job without tearing or shredding. It didn't take a ton of sheets to get me clean. It left me feeling fresh. What I didn't like about it so much was that Charmin's "mega" roll felt more like the competitor's double rolls. Charmin's rolls didn't last as long as the competitor's double rolls and not as long as I would expect something termed MEGA to last. Additionally, Charmin is always priced quite s bit higher than the competition. Top that with the competition who offers much higher value coupons than Proctor & Gambles' small 25-cent coupon, the competitors become a much better deal. If you don't care about money, you'll be happy with Charmin, just as you'd be happy with the Ultra/Soft varieties of competitors. I think it comes down to personal preference. I personally did like the softness and strength of Charmin Ultra Soft and that it didn't chaff my skin nor clog up my sewage. If you need to watch your budget, then you might be happier with a competitor whose ultra product is comparably soft but yet has a lower price and offers more cents-off savings in their coupons. I think this would be better labeled a double roll to have a more honest feel (at least to me).

I can't believe what you have done! The largest size is tiny now. I regularly use this. Suddenly it is 11/2 inch less wide & way shorter. It looks like cash register tape!! I will never buy this again. What really irritates me is how sneakily you changed the dimensions on the pckg. Only a math genius could figure out how slyly you changed it. Will never buy again.

I will put it this way, you only need a few squares to do any business you may need it for. From wiping your nose, face, to any other parts.I am in love with this toilet paper. It has the strength of a paper towel with the softness of a cloud. With Charmin Ultra Soft, you with not only toss out your old flaky toilet paper, you will also toss out the Kleenexes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son does not like being "wiped" after going to the bathroom. HE often says it hurts, or he wants warm wipes for wiping him. After trying Charmin Ultra soft myself, which I received a free pack of to try, I decided to try it with him. For the first time, he didn't complain! He stayed still and let me wipe him. I even asked him if it hurt, and he said no, that feels good Mommy. Afterwards he even took a little off the roll and rubbed it on his face, lol and used it to wipe his nose (which he also hates). Charmin Ultra soft is certainly soft enough to use even on the most sensitive rears and faces! I'd say we have another converted Charmin user!

I’ve bought Charmin for over 30yrs! I've seen the rolls shrink from 500 to 450 to 356 to 328 per roll and now to 308 per roll and thinner and less than a 4”sq! There was a time you couldn't see through the 2 ply sheets, ya can now! I went shopping at the same place I have for years and the price went up again. That did it for me! I bought White Cloud this time, more sheets per roll, the sheets are bigger than Charmin and $2 less! It may not be as soft as Charmin, but I'm tired of supporting a product that continues to downsize its product and then jack the price up anyway! The last several pkgs every roll was glued so much the last 4-6 sheets were unusable! What a waste! I've had it with product downsizing! Charmin just lost a customer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Toilet tissue is one of the greatest inventions out there, it is simple but who wants to do without it. Charmin is the best I have ever tried. So no matter if you call it bathroom tissue,or toilet paper Charmin is all you need to call it. There is ultra soft, ultra strong or basic, they all do the job and do it well. It will not clog your septic tank and you use less when it is so thick and strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very skeptical at first that an ultra soft toilet paper could properly get the job done. When I think of ultra soft, I think soft, but thin. I thought for sure that you would need a lot of sheets so that it wouldn't rip or soak through... Not the case with Charmin Ultra Soft! When they say Ultra Soft, they really mean it! This toilet paper feels like a cloud! If I could make a pillow out of it, I would! I actually caught my 4 year old daughter rubbing the toilet paper across her cheeks and face.. Yes, it is that soft! You also don't have to use many sheets to get the job done. While it is soft, it is also very durable - it doesn't tear or soak through. The roll is big, so you don't run out very fast - we've had 1 roll for 4 days, with 4 people using it, that includes a little one who tends to use A LOT. Before my daughter uses the bathroom she looks at the toilet paper and asks if it is the ultra soft mega-roll, just to make sure.This toilet paper will now be our family's go-to from now on!
