Right away I noticed that the roll and paper itself felt much thicker then our usually store brand toilet paper. We have been buying the same store brand toilet paper for years and at first it was difficult to use the right amount of Charmin. Since it is much thicker we could use much less of it at a time. I was surprised at how soft and strong it is. However I didn't like that it always leaves some "crumbs" whereas my usual paper doesn't. If Charmin could work on this little flaw it would be the perfect toilet paper for us! This toilet paper isn't only good for the toilet it also works great as a tissue. I do have allergies and suffer from a runny nose daily. Charmin felt super soft on my nose and kept it clean without a red rash. We used this product for about 5 days. Unfortunately we ran out of it rather quickly because we are used to a cheaper and thinner toilet paper and used too much at a time. I would definitely recommend this product and once you get used to the thickness it is easy to figure out the right amount. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family has always been picky about toilet paper, so I knew replacing our usual brand with Charmin Ultra Soft would be a challenge. As expected, the toilet paper was met with great skepticism and trepidation. The first complaint I received was that it didn't fit on our built in holder. We have an old home with a recessed tile toilet paper holder, which couldn't accommodate the large roll. We used the paper off of the holder until it got down to a size that fit, then were able to hang it and put it to the real test. You can imagine my shock and disbelief when it received tremendously positive reviews! My husband was especially pleased with the strength of the paper, which is durable and never tears. I found it to be soft and comfortable to use, but not so soft that it leaves pieces behind. As for the thickness, it is just right and doesn't clog the toilet. We haven't had to use a plunger at all, while we were using it. The rolls last a long time, but I wish they were a little smaller so we could use them on our holder immediately. Also, hubby didn't really care for the frilly floral print, which he thought was too girly. Perhaps a simpler design pattern would have better all around appeal. Not sure what the price is on this particular product, but we certainly would consider buying it in the future.

I have to say it does the job right and take care of business. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because occasionally the tissue will break down and will leave residue. I do have to use quite a bit at a time but it's the same with all the other brands I use. I am overall happy with the product and will continue purchasing it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a reliable and useful product. It is soft and two ply. It is durable and will stay and last a long time! I like the texture,feel and amount of the toilet paper. I use it on a daily basis. It is useful and a welcome addition to my routine!

Over the last few months there have been numerous complaints of bad batches and I received one of them. According to the “CharminTeam” this was due to a change in the embossing process that may make the texture feel thinner or coarse. However, you feel it is the same quality when it is clearly not. Why change a good thing? It feels both thin and coarse now compared to before. We will not purchase any new products until you correct this issue. It doesn’t feel the same no matter what you say. Your QA dropped the ball as real customers can clearly tell the difference in quality. It feels like you cheaped out while elevating the cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin ultra soft is indeed, ULTRA! The roll is huge and may not fit on everyone's tp holder, but would be well worth the money spent! It is very soft and VERY durable. My family of 5 was shocked that I 1.got the toilet paper free for review & 2.how overall good of a product it is. I have and will do so again, recommend Charmin Ultra Soft to ANY & EVERY body!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved the Charmin Ultra soft. I really like how I didnt have to use a big o wad to do the job. My only complaint would not be Charmins fault, buy my son still use alot so it clogs the toilet sometime.

I am very upset with your company, you have recently shortened your rolls of Charmin! I always buy the Mega rolls because of the size, that way the roll doesn't run out so fast. I just purchased my usual 12 pack and guess what the roll is about 1 inch shorter that the last package I purchased. I know times are rough and your company doesn't make a lot of money, ha-ha!!! This is just crazy, you must think people won't notice, but guess what, I did. I will no longer be purchasing Charmin, I'll switch to Northern or Scott tissue. I'm sure they will probably follow suit like your company, I could be wrong, we'll see, good-bye!

I would highly recommend this toilet paper because it is soft, thick and a roll lasts a long time. I have used this toilet paper in the past but recently rediscovered it. I don't remember it being this soft and thick in the past. I am glad that I decided to give Charmin Ultra Soft another try.
