Only three sheets at most were used at a time because these tissues are so thick. You definitely feel like you are getting your moneys worth with this product. The tissues are very soft when using also. I would absolutely buy these tissues when purchasing my toilet paper at the supermarket.

It is very annoying to have to send out that group message to remind someone to bring home toilet paper because we are almost out. So when I saw this campaign I signed up simply because my house could always use more toilet paper. So when it came earlier this week, I casually put a new roll on, without telling my roommates. It was incredible how long it lasted, and they all noticed that this was not the same toilet paper we had always been using. After about a day or two my roommates agreed that this is what we would be getting from now on.

She didn't like in the past the "residue" that was left behind. But she was willing to try again after I explained that this was a ultra strong version. When it arrived it was to put to the test! I myself never had any opinions either way it's what makes the wife happy. I felt I needed to use less of the paper for each use which is a good thing. Now my wife said she was more than impressed with this newer version and would buy it in the future. So wife happy = me happy! Way to go Charmin

Hi. Ive been using Charmin Red for years, when it first came out I was telling everyone about this great product. Sadly though the quality was been steadily dropping, shame it's become like an average tp. Step up PG, go back to making it like you did when it first came out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin advertises as being soft and absorbent. This is vital when it comes to the comfort of toilet paper. But is it also strong? The 2-ply sheets are definitely hold up to the stress. I'm actually impressed with the how Charmin Ultra Strong holds up for a 2-ply sheet. First of all, our household never buys anything less than 2-ply unless we are in a dire need. Second, Charmin is a must in this household. We have tried so many other brands and are never satisfied unless it's Charmin. And last, the cost for this product is well worth the comfort and dependability. Charmin has always been the product of choice. Personally, the Ultra Strong just falls below the Ultra Soft version but it's a give an take between the two as indicated by the name: one is soft and one is strong. Now if Charmin can combine the two, they would have the ultimate winner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging seems normal but the contents were awesome. The feel is great, strong ply's and thick feeling. It was popular in our home as it was used up first even though a couple rolls were hidden away. The family commented on the quality and asked for more, not wanting to use the normal stuff we have and regularly use. Will look into buying more often for our home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fact that I have now found toilet paper that don't take a half a roll to use after going to the bathroom. With Charmin Ultra Strong, everyone in the household has the ability to use less TP after using the facility and make a single roll of TP last longer than any roll of TP we have used in the past. By using less TP, we will be able to save money, which is always a good thing. It will also help the environment by having less waste in the treatment plants. So not only are we saving money, but we are helping the environment. I also like the fact that the Charmin Ultra Strong was exactly that, Ultra Strong! Even with using less TP each time in the bathroom, there was no breaking of the TP, or no unwanted ripping at the most inconvenient times. That was really impressive.

So getting to try out Charmin's new ultra strong, I can truly be able to compare it to other brands. Right off the bat, there is no doubt that Charmin ultra strong delivers on what the name specifies. This toilet paper is really strong. Reminds me of paper towel durability. I also definitely notice that I do use less paper product. Now on to the negative side. The softness is lacking in that department. Had more of a rough and not so smooth feel. Absorbency is average. For some reason I do notice that the toilet paper itself seems more narrow than other toilet paper brands. Overall Charmin ultra strong does hold up to it's name. Ultra Strong! With this line by Charmin were they targeting the male customers? If so we too need some softness on our bottoms not just strength.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start by admitting that I've been an Angel Soft guy my whole life. Every time I tried a new brand - a "fancier" brand - I've been disappointed. The thicker and fluffier paper seems too soft and doesn't hold up - and, without getting too graphic - it shreds, flakes, and makes more of a mess than a trip to the bathroom should make. So, it was with trepidation that I tried Charmin...and I have to say that I was impressed with the strength, softness, and overall feel. I have tried other types of Charmin before and never would have given it a second chance if not for this campaign. Charmin Ultra Strong did the job, had a pleasant enough feel, and did not shred or produce a powdery residue. I do take points off for being a little too thick. Although I didn't need to use that much paper, it felt like a lot - and I was a little worried that it might clog up the pipes. That didn't happen, but every flush was said with a little hope and prayer for the plumbing. I would use this again and would be proud to have it in the guest bathroom for the most discerning of guests.

It's not too soft, it's not cheaply made, it doesn't leave anything behind (including pieces of toilet paper). Not too soft - It tough enough to stay together but soft enough to use to blow my nose during this cold season. Not cheaply made - I'm sure we've all used a public restroom that has the cheapest toilet paper someone could buy. This would be the opposite of that.
