Other than that, not much thought or care is given to this most valuable asset. I was one of these men until I received my 4 roll pack of Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper. This stuff truly is "Man tough". It doesn't shred or fall apart like the cheap stuff the wife buys when it's on sale. Truly impressive. You'll use less of it because you don't have to double up in an attempt to protect your hand from thin, flimsy paper. As to how it absorbs, I have no idea, I don't use TP to absorb stuff. Charmin Ultra Strong is absolutely a new kind of toilet paper. I highly recommend it to anyone who uses toilet paper. It will leave you feeling cleaner and, after a couple of uses, you will feel more confident than ever that your paper will stay in tact and do it's duty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use Sam's brand and love that toilet paper. The Charmin roll was smaller and not as wide as the Sams brand. I also thought it was too thick. I would not continue to use this brand. I would not recommend the Charmin either. I will however recommend the Sam's brand. Have been using it for years and have no problems with it.

We usually buy the 1 ply stuff so I was very intrigued by something different for a change. When I first tried it I was immediately surprised by how soft toilet paper could be and how little I had to use. Because it was so strong I only needed one small sheet at a time. I immediately had to remind my wife that she didnt need a handful after each use as well. In the end I summed it up that it was like using an economical and flushable tissue and I can't wait to continue to use it.

I have IBS and a gluten intolerance so if I'm off slightly with my food and or beverage intake, I'm paying a visit to the mens room. I used this brand of Charmin in my house and i can definitely say it's probably the best all around toilet paper I've used. When I travel, most hotels have sand paper in their bathrooms so I know what that feels like and it's not a good feeling. Basically I'm trying to say that this toilet paper should be purchased. You don't have to have the issues I do but since we all visit the bathroom, it would be in your best interest to have this on hand.

I was not that worried about the most comfortable product but one that would be the best cost. With three ladies in the house, I would occasionally grumble about how fast we go through toilet paper. My saint of a wife would remind me that with three girls it is only natural to go through more of the product. We recently got a chance to try a four pack of Charmin Ultra Strong. Just feeling the product, it is a different feel than most other brands. It feels soft and strong, which to me is unique. This roll also lasted longer than others and we did not use as much as fast. I have tried other brands that are soft, but feel like they fall apart once used. Strong sometimes means "like sandpaper" with this type of product. Really, the best test for me was when my wife mentioned it. She is low maintenance, but asked what kind of toilet paper this was, and if we can buy it again. She NEVER asks to buy a specific brand of toilet paper. To me, that is the best endorsement I could write about here. Good job Charmin!

That's going to save you money over the other guys. Isn't that what we're all after? High comfort without a high price!

Having said that it's also a smaller roll size and the idea is your supposed to use less of it. This is not an easy concept to get across to the family. The roll is gone before it even gets started with the kids. As for me I prefer the normal brand and have hard time remembering to pull out less paper. Force of habit I guess. It is good quality and doesn't tear apart, and it is soft and thick, but it's a preference thing when it comes to TP and it's just not for us.

Soft enough to use for faces and noses on occasion. Strong enough to work with my daughter that's potty training and putting everything through a workout. And to add, it's already my mother in law's favorite. Makes shopping for both households easier. Love this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I noticed the Charmin ultra strong toilet paper is way thicker than most paper and definitely stronger so you don't have to use as much. I don't agree it's the softest toilet paper around. But it is definitely strong which we like. The rolls are much smaller than the ones we buy but it lasts longer due to how strong and how little you need to use. With a different brand you need to use more to make sure the tp won't tear.... and the kids use too much! All in all, we like this toilet paper and will consider switching ours to Charmin Ultra Strong.
