This usually means it's private store brand or some off brand that no one has ever heard of. The rationale behind this is that toilet paper is a commodity and a cheap one at that. Therefore, why spend extra for toilet paper that is ultimately going to be flushed down the toilet anyway? Lo and behold, Charmin Ultra Strong comes in to the scene to take on all challengers. The packaging said that we would use less...which I scoffed as marketing guffaw. One quick feel of a square and I was less skeptical. This was indeed a thick and absorbent feeling square of toilet paper, but only one way to find out...on the white porcelain throne. After dropping off the kids at school, I proceeded to test the goods...color me impressed. Less squares, higher efficiency rate...I'm sold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent toilet paper and certainly is strong (as advertised), but is not nearly as soft as what I typically use. I likely will not continue to use the product as the softness is my main criteria for toilet paper. I would recommend the product to somebody who feels like no other product is strong enough for duty, but I frankly have never really had this problem.

Then Charmin came into my life and now it is like, "what". Where has this product been all my life. I believe in once you go Charmin you don't go back!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I visited the Charmin bathroom almost a decade ago. Although I didn't actually make it their glorious bathrooms I am glad I reconnected with them (I wish it could have been sooner!). Soft, absorptive the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The current household brand is Sam's Club Member's Mark. The rolls are also smaller in diameter than my current brand. It was great trying the Charmin Ultra Strong. However, for the women in my family it was a little "rough around the edges". I would suggest improving the softness texture of the paper. Otherwise all around good experience. No dust, or residue left behind.

Additionaly, I didn't have to use as many sheets as my ususal brand to get the job done. I will definately be recommending this product to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Charmin Ultra Strong Toilet Paper. It is soft, strong and thick. While I did use less toilet paper sheets than before, the roll does not seem to last as long. I usually use Marcal which is recycled paper. The Marcal lasts much longer but feels like sandpaper compared to the Charmin. The Marcal is much thinner but has some strength to it. I would definitely recommend the Charmin to others because of its quality and softness. Softness is not a high priority when I look for a toilet paper. What are important to me are the price, strength, and length of the roll. Because of this, while I do like the Charmin, I am not sure if I would puchase the Charmin unless it was on sale at a good price.

We stop using Charmin Ultra Soft toilet paper because we were able to see a white layer after using it. So, we have been using only Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper. I was worried that this variety would have the same problem in a while. However, I am happy that the new version is even better than the actual Charmin Ultra Strong. This toilet paper is really strong and no residues after using it. So, Charmin Ultra Strong is my perfect toilet paper so far. Thanks for the sample.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not my favor subject, but this Charmin is great. Strong enough for the biggest King. Yet soft enough for the Princess of the house. I never would have tried Charmin if I have not gotten it free for being a BzzAgent. Now we are going to use it on a regular bases. Try it for yourself; see and feel the difference.
