[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I have used the same brand TP for a LONG time. Not too soft, but the roll lasts a small eternity. This Charmin Ultra Strong is EXTREMELY thick and soft. That is very impressive. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it seems that the roll goes quicker because the paper is thicker. I realize that I don't need as much because it is thick, but the other members of my house haven't gotten that figured out. If there was a way to compress it and make the roll last longer, I'd give it 6 stars. I was impressed as someone can be with TP, and what I liked was that even if there was a a lot of TP used, it didn't stop up the toilet like other thicker brands do. It was really nice for a runny nose. My 2 year old daughter appreciated it over the normal brand I use which makes her nose sore and red. I'm long past the age of having my house wrapped, but if I did, I would request Charmin Ultra Strong.

The paper really is strong and durable, very similar to a kitchen paper towel or a paper shop towel. Unfortunately like those, it is not very soft or fluffy. So in order to get more strength I think it lost the plush feeling that other papers have. Overall this would not be a first choice for me, but it is exactly as they describe it when it says ultra strong. So if you are looking for the strength of a paper towel and don't mind giving up a little softness, than this one is for you but if your looking for a paper that is soft as a mothers kiss pass over this one for one of Charmins other ultra soft rolls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having not used Charmin in a number of years I was pleaseantly surprised at how the texture made cleanup truely a breeze with less tissue being used. Unlike in past experiences I did not notice any abundance of lint from this paper which was a previous issue. Overall would highly recommend Charmin Ultra Strong and will continue to use it.

It combines the soft texture with a stronger tissue that provides a much better cleaning solution. Charmin has always been known to offer a soft, superior type of tissue, but the Ultra Strong tissue takes it to another level. It holds up very well.

In fact, to be honest, I had never really thought about the toilet paper I was using. I would typically go to the store, find a brand that looked soft and affordable and that would be it. Now, having experienced the soft yet durable Charmin Ultra Strong, I can attest to the fact that the right quality and brand does make a difference. Charmin Ultra Strong helps to keep you clean on the first try so I do not need very much and there is no residue left over. The only downside I see is that I think the rolls need to be a little wider!

However, I was very happy with the Charmin Ultra Strong. It gets the job done and I don't have to use as much. It's not too pricey, so I will be buying this from now on!
