It has a thickness that makes just a few squares sufficient but is still nice and soft. We are on a septic system so it's septic safe which is a must. I blazed through my first roll a little too quick since I was used to needing a lot of paper but now that I am used to it I feel like I get a lot for my money.

It isn't too bulky to get clogged in the toilet, while still being soft on my nether regions. It also doesn't fall apart, which means I don't have to use too much. All in all, a great product!

When I got the Charmin Ultra Strong sample from Bzzz Agent was, great we don't have to buy toilet paper for a while. Have we had an eye opener with this product...it's really strong but soft on your body, a combination rare to encounter with toilet paper. My wife can't stop talking about it after she uses it. I guess we are dancing with the bears now on. Charmin is still the best brand to buy and Ultra Strong the one coming home from now on.

It is so soft and pliable you definitely use a lot less sheets. And charmin is a lot cheaper than its competitors you definitely get more bang for your buck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper is by far one of the best I have ever used. I switched it out in our bathroom at home and didn't tell my girlfriend. She actually came out and started talking to me saying "this might be a weird question, but that's not the normal TP right?" It is hilarious that she noticed so quick! This toilet paper is strong and durable. Not cheap like the 2ply stuff I am forced to use at work. One thing I tend to not like about toilet paper marketed as "strong" is that it is usually pretty rough. This Charmin ultra strong is super supportive but remains soft on your bum. I typically use Cottenelle, because I find it to be cheaper in my area. It works well enough, but I find that I usually have to accompany the toilet paper with the flushable wipes, otherwise it can be a little rough. That hasn't been the case with this Charmin so far. It is much gentler and seems to hold up better than my usual. I would say it works better than my normal toilet paper and better than other TPs I have experienced. This toilet paper delivers as promised, being "Ultra Strong." It looks soft in the package and feels soft out. Therefore, I say you can "judge a book by its cover" in this instance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Charmin Ultra Strong is so strong it might be wrong. . . to have assumed it would hold up to my expectations. This is some sturdy roll tissue which is visually obvious if you flip a square over and check out the fine weave. Normally I am a purple Cottonelle kind of guy and this stuff gives it a run for MY money. How does it compare (not scientific): * tear test: Charmin felt to have a slightly greater strength when trying to tear apart a square. * break down test: put a square of both brands in some water to fully saturate. The Charmin seemed to break down moderately slower. Valuable to know on septic or if you are a hyper wiper. * spit ball get: OK I didn't really test this but the thought did cross my mind. I imagine it would be a tie. * blow test: very sturdy for a good nasal blow. Didn't leave behind any sneezy fiber bunnies under my nose/in my stubble. * wipability: um, awkward. It did its job well. Being a sensitive hyper wiper I was quite surprised to leave the scene of the crime without feeling violated or injured. Which is TMI but but it is always on my mind when visiting the throne room. Satisfied to not have to supplement with flushable wipes. I would buy it again. It is much better than I expected, this coming from someone that is brand loyal for various personal reasons elluded to above. Five royal flushes out of five. -Sensitive hyper-wiper
