I didn't buy charmin before because it was normally a little more pricier. After a week my family and I have only gone through two rolsl, as for the other brand it we would of been on our third at least. It's really soft, but durable. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong is just that. Strong. It's like a roll of mini paper towels. Absorbent, soft, and durable. It doesn't feel too thick, it's not abrasive, it flushes well. What more is there to ask from toilet paper? And it looks nice. ;)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin is definitely a quilted tissue, but I found it to be very thick. It was soft to the touch, but the thickness was a bit much. It felt more like paper than tissue. However, it is very strong so I can see where those that need/want a stronger tissue would like this, but unfortunately this is not the tissue we will continue to use in our household.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] when I first got the Ultra Strong I matched it up with the Charmin Basic. you can see right away the difference between the two right away. ultra strong is stronger then the two and also softer Charmin Ultra Strong is in my opinion the best toilet paper out there. It is very soft to the touch but it is thick and doesn't tear that easy when wet. before I got to try the Charmin ultra strong I used the Charmin basic mostly because it is cheaper and I thought all TP was the same.i was wrong with the Ultra Strong I used less TP then I would with the basic and it was soft and gentle and had less irritation or the accidentally tearing. After trying the Ultra Strong as a free sample I am am now going to use it instead of the Basic. it does cost a few more dollars but I think your bum will be happy that you did. they say it's the little things in life that make a world of difference and the Ultra Strong is proof of that.

It was soft, worked well, did not clog the drain, did not need to use the whole roll to do one days paperwork, and you get the idea. I was excited when I got the full size package as a trial sample, but,,, no pun intended there was a big but, then I began to think, what in the world are you going to say about toilet paper that has not already been said. How do you bring it up in conversation at the church with your friends? Hey Joe what do you wipe with? I might be afraid of the answers I might get. however, the product was very soft and sturdy. I am a good sized guy, 6'2" weighting in at about 255. Glad to have a roll that I don't have to roll up 10 feet of paper just to get enough to use properly. Thank Charmin....

Normally, I'm hesitant to purchase a more expensive brand of toilet paper as I really am price conscious. The basics of toilet paper to me are that I should be reasonably clean after my bowel movement, and that I'm not bleeding. The store brand toilet I had been using till I began using this product often was irritating, and very thin. Sometimes, I would wipe too hard and scratch myself. However, that brand is reasonably priced and that is why I routinely used it. Upon my first use of Charmin, I felt at ease due to the thickness of the paper and how soft it felt while wiping. I can say without a doubt that the product lives up to its claims. The paper itself is a very high quality toilet paper and will not clog toilets. Those with very sensitive nerves should find this toilet paper to be a relief and more tolerable than dryer and thinner toilet paper products. Overall, I would recommend Charmin Ultra Strong to those who are using generic thin products and are in need of a product that is more comfortable to use. As far as existing products on the market that are similar to Charmin Ultra Strong, I am unable to contribute a justified opinion as I've been using the brand of toilet paper I currently use most often for many years.

It definitely gets the job done and I like it more than my regular tissue. I will continue to use it because my family was so impressed at how well it works. The only thing I didn't like was how it left pieces along when you used it. I didn't care for that part but everything else was great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] out of all the toilet paper i've used, this is probably the best. it is strong and yet smooth on the skin, and it definitely doesn't tear easily, which has been my biggest fear when using any tp. and on top of that, instead of using 10+ tp at once just to make sure its strong enough, i only need to use 2!!! thats amazng!
