As long as it's not the cheapest single-ply wisp of material, or the pulpy sandpaper horror of middle school bathrooms, it is what it is. This particular one, being allegedly thicker, seems a bit stiffer, but I still find that you'll use the same amount. It's comfortable, but not worth a price premium.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Charmin toilet paper user for most of my life. I prefer it because of its softness compared to other brands. The product I received to test was nice but there were a rather annoying side effect that I must mention. Charmin Ultra Strong has a quilted texture. Because of this design there tends to be a lot of dusty residue from the toilet paper build up around the toilet area. It doesn't affect the performance of the product but it just isn't tidy. Overall, this toilet paper does a great job of handling its main duty. I highly recommend it for people that like to be pampered just a bit in the bathroom. On a side note, being that I am a huge Auburn University football fan, I saved one of the rolls to go roll Toomer's Corner after Auburn's victory over Wisconsin in the Outback Bowl - a big tradition when Auburn wins a big game. I good TP rolling deserves a great toilet paper roll. Charmin Ultra Strong fits that role perfectly. War Eagle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to always purchase the store brand toilet paper because of the price. Well that is all about to change now that I am switching to Charmin! Until you realize how rough the store brand actually is and have Charmin to compare it to, you wont know what heaven for your bum is truly like. I feel so much cleaner and with less irritation. It never clogs my toilet either. I don't know how it can be thicker, softer and better and not clog the toilet. It truly is a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good durability and comfort. Great product all around. Even smells nice. There are many products out there that claim to be the best but in this case I think the bear is right. charmin is both the most comfortable and most practical!

I am extremely disappointed that you have elected to reduce the width of this product. Our house was built about 20 years ago and the narrow width roll just looks cheap when it is mounted in the holder that was designed for 4-1/2 inch rolls. I really like your product, but I am going to change brands to one that fits the holders in my bathrooms.

The toilet paper is pretty thick though so it does not last as long, but you do not need as much. This is much more comfortable and durable than the competition and I would purchase this brand from the store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra combines softness with toughness. It feels great, but without the fear of a tear or "break-through". I feel confident using fewer sheets, making the roll last longer. My family loves Charmin Ultra Strong and insists that it will be the only toilet paper in our house.

I'm not sure what kind of game Charmin is playing now or Procter and Gamble is the parent company but these extra large rolls are what the large rolls used to be. Has anyone noticed that the sheets are much thinner now even though it says 2 ply? I'm not sure if they think that we won't notice? We're paying more for a lot less. I only use Charmin toilet paper however, if they continue this way I will buy generic that is thicker and just the same

I could sleep with a blanket made of Charmin Ultra Strong! This is the most important thing in my bathroom and I have made the switch to Charmin moving forward. Maybe I will give out Charmin Ultra Strong for Christmas presents next year!
