It's comfortable, and I don't find that I or my family went through things very quickly, so in the end, I'd say things were satisfactory. Charmin is a trusted brand to me, and I would definitely consider buying again over other name brands. Though my expectations for toilet paper are not necessarily high, the Ultra Strong Charmin toilet paper did not disappoint and held up to its name and its claim.

It did not crumble to little pieces as soon as I used it (unlike other brands), but it was not too rough to use. I also liked that it felt like the other Charmin toilet papers, but it was just an improved version of their Basic edition. A pet peeve I have with TP is that some companies make every texture feel different, which would make sense depending on its style, but too much of a difference is quite distracting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not one to shop around for a new and better toilet paper and have only switched brands a few times over the last 25 years. Last year after using the same brand for 6 or 7 years, my girlfriend told me she didn't like my toilet paper, so I shopped around. I felt that while the big name brand that I was using was strong and reasonably soft. I tried several other name brands and even a couple of store brands. I finally settled on a store brand as a good mix of strength, softness and price. For this review, I have developed the first ever Toilet Paper Rating system. To put this into perspective, my original name brand (I'll call TP_A) was an 8 out of 10 for strength, a 6 for softness and a 3 on price (it was kind of expensive). The store brand I was using, I will call TP_B and the Charmin Ultra Strong I will call TP_C. Here is how they stack up: Brand Strength Soft Price Overall Rating (add scores) TP_A 8 6 3 17 TP_B 6 7 7 20 TP_C 7 7 5 19 While I feel the Charmin Ultra Strong is slightly better than what I was using, the store brand beats it on price. Overall I was happy with the Charmin, but the added price doesn't justify a spectacular review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a really great product that does not clog city pipes. I probably will not buy it because it contains so few sheets. Sure you use less with this, but the need to compress more sheets into every roll. I was also turned off that they cheapened it by making the paper smaller in size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best toilet paper I have ever used. Charmin's Ultra Strong toilet paper is more than just an ordinary toilet paper. It is literally 3 to 4 times thicker than the commercial ones you see everywhere and about 2 times thicker than the average home toilet paper. I am really impressed at how soft and fluffy it is. Not only did I use half as many sheets as I always use, i use it for blowing my nose too (since its winter now and "runny nose season" is here). Its softer than regular kleenex to blow your nose. But in terms of its actual use, I don't know where to begin. Its strong (as the name states) but the name is honestly doing it injustice. Its really really strong. Its also fluffy and plush and feels so gentle when you are cleaning yourself. It feels smooth and you are clean with half the amount of sheets. Its just amazing to use overall and I suggest everyone try it even if you are intimidated by the price. Its definitely worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the Charmin® Ultra Strong toilet paper, I was hesitant to go to work on reviewing this. I persisted and I am glad I did. I was quite surprised at how strong this toilet paper was without giving up the softness that the bum needed. Most other brands are not as strong and soft. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants the tough job done without the toughness that is typical of most TP!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a rather neutral experience with charmin. I found it to work adequately enough but my normal brand just seems softer. My kids didn't seem to notice any difference so that is a plus. I don't know whether I would seek out charmin at the store or not. I think I prefer the feel of my usual toilet paper.

During the winter time I often see the toilet paper first to blow my nose and this has been a delight in those times too. It took some time to realize that I didn't need to use too much. I definitely would recommend it for durability and comfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Charmin Ultra Strong for a week now, and I would say that overall it is a good strong toilet paper. The sheets are very easy to tear apart, and you don't go through an entire roll as fast as other brands. Although it is a strong toilet paper, I still feel like Cottonelle toilet paper is much softer, and having the aloe in the toilet paper creates much more comfort. I usually use Cottonelle toilet paper, and will likely continue to after I have finished using the Charmin Ultra Strong. Overall, I rate this toilet paper a 7/10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the longest time, we've used just about every brand except Charmin for our house. This is mostly because of the price, to be honest. But as it turns out, with toilet paper you get what you pay for. Charmin Ultra Strong is leaps and bounds over other brands that we've used recently. Even one sheet stubbornly refuses to rip. After frequently having to double or triple fold my toilet paper, the fact that one sheet will stay intact is frankly impressive in a world where toilet paper seems to have gotten exponentially more flimsy. So in short, Charmin Ultra Strong is worth the money. It's stronger than any other brand I can think of, and it's super absorbent, just as it says on the package. I'm going to have a hard time going back to other brands after this Campaign!
