My wife and I have been buying Charmin bathroom tissue for quite a few years we switch to the Charman mega rolls because of the quality of toilet paper and the amount on the role. The last 12 Charman mega rolls that we purchased was only a one ply toilet . On every role very disappointed

I've been a user of Charmin Ultra Soft for years, it's strong enough for me, and I'll continue to use it. The Ultra Strong may be stronger and more tear resistant, but it's definitely harsher and more abrasive. I won't even finish the 4 pack sent to me.

In general, I do not find anything objectionable about the Ultra Strong variety. It is, indeed, strong, and I like that it is not too harsh. I don't see any reason to switch from my regular brand, but if I were looking for the toilet paper for the first time, this would be a perfectly acceptable product.

While it does clean better than my normal brand it is also twice the price and did not do that much better to justify paying more for it. I would use it more often if it were on sale or cheaper but at this time I will stick to what is familiar. As far as recommending it, I'd say try it in a small pack before you buy it to see how it stacks up with what you are used to.

I have been trying to find something that was strong that didn't feel like sand paper and this is it!!! It doesn't tear while using it so doesn't leave fragments of paper behind, also is soft, so it's comfortable on your skin, I have even used it to blow my nose, which is amazing!!! I will definitely be purchasing and stocking up on this brand!! Way to go Charmin on a GREAT Product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Charmin Ultra Strong IS strong. It's durable, and you use less! My only issue with this tissue is that it's also not very textured and my fingers did slip once in a while. Maybe they wouldn't if I'd crumbled and wadded instead of folding my squares. Overall, I recommend it. It cleans without scraping, and there's NO seepage.

We usually cycle through TP brands depending on price and where we are when we remember to buy it. No rhyme or reason to how we make that purchase because it's just TP. At least it used to 'just' be TP. I mixed in the Charmin after receiving my Bzzkit. I just waited to see if anyone would say anything, which they didn't. But as soon as the 4 Charmin rolls ran out and we moved onto another store brand, there was an uproar. No one took note of the TP until they used the Charmin, we now have a regular brand.

It's strong enough to use four tissues each time saving tissues on each use while soft enough for me. The only issue that I have with the Charmin Ultra Strong is it's a smaller tissue size than my normal bathroom tissue but with it's strength, I can still keep my hands clean and it's not scratchy to the feel. Bottom line, you can save money from using this bathroom tissue than others that I have used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very picky when it comes to tissue. The Charmin Ultra Strong isn't bad, but it's not for me. It's not to hard and its not to soft but it just seems like a waste of tissue and a roll doesn't last very long. It did not leave behind any residue, but I still prefer Scott. I will not continue to use it when the campaign is over. I would not recommend it to anyone else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never really given much thought to the differences in TP, but there really is a difference. My prior experience was a competitor brand, and the sandpapery stuff they use in the ginomous rolls that we have at work. With the regular brand we get at home, I find that I have to use several squares or 'go arounds' because although it is soft and does the job, it tends to be kind of thin, which if not careful can result in a very unpleasant experience. So the first thing I was surprised by with this brand was the ply and strength. It was obvious from the beginning that I would not need several 'go arounds' or squares of this one, because it would be thick enough and strong enough to not need several ply. Like the kind I usually get though, this too was quite soft and did not irritate, and most importantly, got the job done. While I was at the store recently, I also decided to look and see what the price was like on this compared to my regular brand, and found that they are almost identical in cost. So, with that being said, I think I may go with this brand more often, as it will require less and costs about the same, and is non irritating (which lets face it, really is one of the most important factors!)
