It is so soft and pliable you definitely use a lot less sheets. And charmin is a lot cheaper than its competitors you definitely get more bang for your buck

You don't have to worry about it falling apart, It gets you cleaner than the rest and it is easy on your septic system. On top of all that you get the Mega Roll and you don't have to worry about running out as fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The funny thing is apparently Charmin Ultra Strong was the brand/variety we have been using for months already! When I opened the package and compared the two, lo and behold, they were the exact same. So look at that, I was a convert already and I didn't even know it! As far as the product goes, it's great. It's definitely thicker than the run of the mill TP or that ultra thin stuff in the stall at work. You certainly don't need to spin the roll several times to get enough like you might expect you'd normally feel you'd need. Ultra Strong just feels like a few squares would give you the barrier you want and the ability to do its job. Its not going to tear through or leave bits of paper behind. It really holds together well. And it's soft as well. I was skeptical when my wife initially brought it home that it was going to be like a napkin or a paper towel, feel-wise, because of it's thickness. But Charmin has done a really nice job of blending softness with durability. Overall, the TP is great and we will definitely continue to use it. An added bonus is that because we are on a septic system (and even if you're on sewers), you just don't need to use very much to get the job done. Less down the pipes that needs to biodegrade. And that's always a good thing.

I normally would buy the cheapest brand possible but it just was not cutting our needs any more especially for our children. We found they were using way more toilet paper than needed simply because of how thin the sheets were. This in turn caused major clogging in our bathroom. I noticed a huge difference instantly when i switched to Charmin Ultra Strong. Each sheet is way more thick and better textured for a cleaner wipe. Unlike other brands, Charmin does not rip or tear while using. My children can now use way less sheets which I'm sure our toilet really appreciates and so far we have not had any clogging. Not only are the sheets super strong but they are also soft which is just as important. The strong and soft are so well balanced that there's no flaking or crumbling of the tissue. Charmin Ultra Strong holds up to its name and purpose. I use to believe all toilet paper is the same but after using this brand, I now know which brand to trust.

I imagine that is the trade-off you get and depending on your preferences, this could be a good product.

My family complained when we tried the switch. The toilet paper is quite sting and does not rip but we found it uncomfortable. I would highly recommend the ultra soft version.

I understood you had soft toilet paper then you had the sand paper toilet paper that you found in most public restrooms, but how much difference was there in a normal quality toilet paper. Then I tried it. Normally my family uses a different brand that gets the job done but at times can tear. This other brand has always felt comfortable, but once I used Charmin Ultra Strong I experienced what I had been missing. Soft, comfortable, non tearing, ultra strong toilet paper. If you are looking for a product that excels at doing what its main purpose is, then Charmin Ultra Strong is for you.

I have using Charmin Strong for years and now you have ruined it by making the roll a half inch shorter. If you think no one would notice, you are wrong. I guess I will have to switch to another brand. It is a shame that you try to sneak this change and not think people will not notice it. You have lost a customer...

Charmin Ultra Strong not only holds up & cleans well with having to use a ton of TP, it's soft enough to not leave your rear raw!

It is firm and strong, but at the same time very soft. I used to buy the Charmin Ultra Soft, but I think that the Ultra Strong is better. It has the softness of the Ultra soft, but more durability and strength. I also feel like this is thicker than usual toilet paper so in the end you use less. For those of you who do not like to spend the extra money on toilet paper, you will actually save money by buy the Ultra Strong because you use less of it. So what are you waiting for? Give your toilet paper a switch.
