[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to toilet paper it is pretty simple. Make it strong enough to hold up under duress, but soft enough so it absorbs and doesn't tear up your nether-regions. Charmin Ultra Strong does checks all those boxes. It also avoids the multiple-ply nonsense; slip-sliding around and such. My only gripe with this tissue is when it gets wet. It can disintegrate on you, and you may find yourself picking pieces out of dark corners. This is not a really big issue, however. At average prices this would be my go-to. I probably would not pay a premium for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's difficult to review toilet paper without making any mention of WHY the TP is being used, but I'll leave out the gross details as best as I can. First and foremost, Charmin Ultra Strong is supposed to be strong, as the title implies. In that regard, Charmin Ultra Strong is indeed strong and absorbent. Where Charmin Ultra Strong fails to stand above the rest of the brands and styles of toilet paper is that I felt Charmin Ultra Strong was nowhere near as soft as my current brand of toilet paper, Quilted Northern Ultra Soft and Strong. In fact, I felt that Charmin Ultra Strong was a bit rough on my backside. Charmin Ultra Strong claims that I may be able to use less toilet paper to get the same job done, but I've tried using only three to four squares, and although after I fold the squares it takes care of the mess without ripping, I lose a lot of surface area. I like to be able to have the toilet paper cover up a large surface area of my hand to keep it clean, but with Charmin Ultra Strong, I feel guilty for using extra squares, so my folded square is not as long and wide as I'd like it to be. One positive of Charmin Ultra Strong is that I am able to use it to clean up non-bathroom messes when paper towels are not readily available. One non-factor feature of Charmin Ultra Strong is that it is a double roll, claiming that four of the Ultra Strong rolls equals eight regular rolls. The fact of the matter is, all other toilet paper brands these days are double rolls, so I would not even consider purchasing a roll that is not a double roll. So this feature did not factor into my review at all. Bottom line is, Charmin Ultra Strong does the job, but it's not entirely comfortable. I don't know how much Charmin Ultra Strong costs compared to other toilet paper brands on the market since I didn't pay for Charmin Ultra Strong, but I would not go out of my way to purchase this particular variety of Charmin in the future. My current brand of toilet paper is adequately strong while soft, and strong + soft wins over simply strong, each and every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While Charmin Ultra Strong is quite durable and efficient, it does pay a cost when it comes to comfort. While it’s not exactly a painful experience, using Charmin Ultra Strong doesn't quite make you think about a fountain of refreshing lotion either. Your clean up session will leave you feeling well equipped to take on the rest of your day, but just not quite satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love charmin brand tissue, its strong but still soft for your bum. As my wife says I stay in the bathroom and this tissue goes a long way compared to others. We will start buying this on a regular basis.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, I'm very particular about my toilet paper. First, the roll fits in the holder just fine. Sometimes you get the double rolls and they are too big to fit, not this one. The toilet paper itself though is very thick, you don't have to use as much to get the job done. Each roll lasted longer than the typical roll I get, which is nice. Finally the product is soft enough that i used it as tissue paper also, very soft. I'm very happy with this product, I will continue to use it. I'm glad that I was given this sample to try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong lives up to its name. It is definitely "ultra" strong. It is extremely absorbent and will not rip or tear easily - so no more fingers poking through (you know what I'm talking about). I also found myself using about half the normal amount of squares due to the extra thickness and durability, so it is very efficient. It's not quite as comfortable or soft as say, Charmin Ultra Soft obviously, but now there are multiple good options depending on your needs.

It's strong and durable and with the use of just a couple of sheets you get that cleanness! The only thing is it's kind of rough so if you don't like the roughness then this toilet paper isn't for you. I will definitely be recommending this toilet paper to people I know!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always thought the bear commercials were funny, but little did I know, Charmin backs up the baby bear like a massive hulking grizzly. The TP is soft, holds together like a strong paper towel, doesn't leave behind those pesky cling-ons and does a great job cleaning up. My bear fur bum has never been happier. I think this is going to be my TP of choice moving forward.
