[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I tried this product, I used whatever was on sale from week to week and was never totally satisfied with the comfort and durability of the product. This toilet tissue was extremely heavy feeling and it was clearly thicker than what I'd grown accustomed to. It took me the first roll in my four pack to stop using way too much because a little goes a long way. I found that I was getting out a new roll much less often, as the rolls seemed to last longer. I used it in my bathroom, whic is usually only used by my son and myself, so I can't speak to its effectiveness for the ladies in the house, but for my needs it was more than sufficient. I noticed that the roll was narrower than my last brand, but it didn't seem to matter much. My one caution is that it can put extra stress on plumbing if you aren't careful. It stopped up my toilet at first before I learned to use less because of it's added strength.

The answer is no -- but my main reason for trying this product was because my kids kept complaining about our toilet paper not holding up it's end of the deal and them dropping endless amounts of the stuff into the toilet and clogging it up because it kept falling apart. So when I found this Charmin Ultra Strong -- it not only held up it's end of the deal, but the kids used less and no clogs so far!

It is! This toilet paper is soft yet durable. I realized early that I didn't need to use as much. It is thick and sturdy. This allows me to use less in one "sitting." I highly recommend this toilet paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually thinking about less toilet paper sounds unpleasant - so when I heard Charmin® Ultra Strong uses up to 4x less paper - I was understandably nervous. But it turns out, it still feels soft and does the job. I could tell when I took the roll out of the package that this was so cheap feeling - gas station restroom paper - it had a good quality. I've used several rolls at home and have been very happy with it - and it makes me feel good I can enjoy using "less" paper because it's quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I tried the new Charmin pack of toilet paper that was sent to us in the bzz kit and I have to say I was kind of let down. We primarily use Scott toilet tissue, which I would say serves our needs just fine. We do tend to overuse it though each time. When we started to use the new Charmin roll I had to admit that we had a preconceived notion that Charmin is ultra soft and that you have to be very careful at how much you throw in the toilet or you risk clogging it up. When we opened the pack right away I noticed that it wasn't very soft. It was softer than the Scott's, but it wasn't significantly different. Also, the roll seems like it is a lot smaller. Even though out of the pack it looks like it is the same size, I guess the thickness of the sheets actually make the roll last maybe half as long. The 4-pack was gone so fast that had I used regular Scott's I might have still been on my first roll. Overall, the toilet paper is of a higher quality than I am used to, but based on how fast the roll was finished and the cost I am most likely not going to purchase this especially with young kids who like to waste the roll.

My family and I used the four rolls of toilet paper within the first few days of receiving the package. Each of my family members, after using the product, remarked that it was a very soft and comfortable product to use in the toilet. My family and I are in agreement that we would recommend using this product. However, we had one caveat about this product and that is how quickly the roll depletes. We normally use toilet paper that has 1000 sheets and that is what we are used to and so this is why we believe that the rolls run out too quickly. In short, my overall opinion is that if softness is your primary consideration in toilet paper then this product is perfect for your toilet needs, but just don't expect each roll to last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving the Charmin Ultra Strong I immediately tossed aside my normal brand to check it out. This toilet paper really lives up to the name ultra strong as it is very strong indeed. This is some of the strongest paper I've used but after a few times using, it started to remind me of a paper towel. It wasn't too rough but it was really thick and I found myself using less than I would with a normal roll, but the rolls didn't really seem like a full roll. I seemed to go through the rolls faster than my normal paper even by using less. Overall I liked the paper and I feel if you are looking for a strong toilet paper that won't rip and you can sacrifice some softness, you should really give this stuff a shot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will start off and state that the quality is first rate. It's not cheap and thin where it will rip and fall apart easily. However, the feel of the roll is rough. If you don't want that tough feel then I would not recommend it. I would definitely use it for outdoor purposes. Camping or other areas where the tissue paper needs to withstand outside abuse. I will probably buy more and store it for my disaster kit since I feel it will hold up well. Overall, well made just not my preference.
