I feel like it is much softer than the other brands that I have used and found myself using fewer sheets per visit. I would use this in the future because it will save me even more money over time since I will need less and it is more comfortable for me to use.

I own an 11 year old dog with allergies. She happens to sneeze a lot. Well several times I ended up using Charmin to clean up her nose and the floor. I can safely say this; Charmin Ultra Strong is as strong as paper towel but soft enough to be toilet paper.

I was able to use less, but the roll didn't last very long I may of been using to much It was soft I don't know what the price difference will be I would buy it if it is cost effective for me I always look at value in the cost

So let's get two things declared right away: my greatest concerns are durability and comfort. And Charmin Ultra Strong absolutely kills the competition in both areas! You want durable bathroom tissue from a name brand you know you can trust? Look no further! You want your fingers going through the paper and being covered in unmentionable bodily substances? Then go ahead and keep buying the cheap paper. Charmin Ultra Strong is so rugged and thick-- yet amazingly septic safe-- that I could clean up with just a few sheets of paper, compared to needing a handful of other brands. That's money saved, as well as time and frustration. What's more, this paper is actually totally comfortable to use! I have one particularly picky customer in my house, and she is never satisfied with such things as bathroom tissue comfort, but Charmin Ultra Strong had her raving and singing praises. Charmin did a good job to keep this toilet paper soft and make it strong. I hate toilet paper that tears apart while you are using it. I did not have to worry about this with this product. If I saw it in the store, I would buy it at the right price.

It seems pretty similar to any other name-brand same-type toilet paper, so it would come down to cost for me, and getting the best value. It does what it advertises, and so if that's what you're looking for then it has my recommendation.

I have used Charmin exclusively for almost 30 years. I have tolerated the gradually shrinking rolls but the latest downsizing was the last straw. There is no longer a clean bathroom experience. More paper is required with each wipe. Also, it appears that the paper is thicker but rougher - like sandpaper. What happened the the "squeezably soft" Charmin? I have switched brands and will return if you ever bring the old stuff back.
