I thought it was too "fluffy" and would leave pieces behind. I was used to my old regular toilet paper which was thin and I thought much better. I received my BzzKit and was hesitant to give Charmin a try. Finally, I got the courage to, and to my amazement, it was a complete shock at how wrong I was. Charmind Ultra Strong is soft, yet does its job, much better than my previous toilet paper. With that first try I immediately changed my toilet paper ways.

Honestly, it is difficult to spend a lot of $$$ on a product that you are just going to flush anyway. The rolls are smaller than you would expect, and you need to buy twice as many to last as long as a normal roll.

This product is overall better than the recent bathroom tissue products we had been using and is by far one of the best products of its kind. It is about the same strength as our previous products, but since it is less quilted it leaves you cleaner without so many remnants left behind. It is very soft for the lack of wuiliting and is strong for its softness. Overall they did not compromise anything with this product, yet they found a nice middle ground. As a side note, when using the toilet paper as a tissue it holds up to the force of my nasal winds and does not break down. I think we may continue to use this product as long as it is priced accordingly. Bottom Line 2 thumbs up.

We have tried other brands but have always come back to Charmin for it's quality. This new ultra strong is good and soft, which are the two requirements in my house, so it passes our test.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this, I cannot say that its right for me. Its tick so might not be suitable for toilet due to clogging issues. It is thick so does not tear but the softness is missing. I have used angel soft which is very soft. Now when i say its not too soft does not mean its hard on body bt it does not give the soft feeling. Due to its firmness the amount of toilet paper used is less so we might be saving a couple of dollars in case we have small kids at home.

This Charmin Ultra Strong is not 2-ply (it clearly states "single ply" on the wrapper) and it's anything but soft (we've always bought Ultra Soft but decided to order this to give it a try)! We've been Charmin users for years and this is the 1st time I've ever absolutely HATED it! If I could give it a zero stars, I would. When I use it, it leaves residual bits of paper where it so obviously shouldn't AND we have to use 2-3 times as much as normal. Will NEVER buy this again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This roll of paper towels is one of the best we have ever used. It combines softness and strength in great balance. We've found that often one or the other of these attributes is compromised, but our testing of this product led us to really appreciate it. I don't know what this sells for relative to other paper towels, but it certainly is a very good product in terms of performance. I will be looking for it in the store from now on.

If the price was a little more manageable, this would very easily be five stars. It is very comfortable, does not irritate anything, and is very thick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of Charmin Ultra Strong is unbeatable. It is very thick and durable, but not so thick that you're worried it'll clog up the toilet when flushed. Just a couple squares gets the dirtiest jobs done and I never have to worry about my finger poking a hole through the paper during cleanup (that's one of my litmus tests when trying out new toilet paper). It's also very soft on my nether regions but doesn't leave any lint behind. All in all, this is an excellent toilet paper and one that I will continue to use!
