YOu can definately tell the difference between this and the typical toilet paper, and it's much better!

It is also so soft it feels amazing to use. If I didn't know better I would think that this toliet paper was also extra soft. Would not use any other type. When my sister came over she was pleasantly surprised on how soft and strong the toliet paper was.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin strong is the only toilet tissue my family uses. It has twice the strength than other tissues. No need to use a quarter of the roll to get clean. Strong is also soft. Pamper yourself. The savings is an extra benefit.

Houseguests I have had are mixed Between Strong and Soft, but all like Charmin (either type) better than what they use at home.

I loved how it is available at my local stores and all the different sizes you can purchase. This paper is great as a toilet tissue and even works as a Kleenex.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical when try Charmin Ultra Strong, I am accustomed to one ply 1000 sheet per roll tp. I did not think Charmin Ultra Strong was going to last since it was much less sheets per roll. However because it is "Ultra" strong you need less. Charmin Ultra Strong was comfortable to use, and since you need less sheets it is a lot less wasteful. One roll of Charmin Ultra Strong lasted just as long as the 1000 sheet per roll brand I was using.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start by admitting that I've been an Angel Soft guy my whole life. Every time I tried a new brand - a "fancier" brand - I've been disappointed. The thicker and fluffier paper seems too soft and doesn't hold up - and, without getting too graphic - it shreds, flakes, and makes more of a mess than a trip to the bathroom should make. So, it was with trepidation that I tried Charmin...and I have to say that I was impressed with the strength, softness, and overall feel. I have tried other types of Charmin before and never would have given it a second chance if not for this campaign. Charmin Ultra Strong did the job, had a pleasant enough feel, and did not shred or produce a powdery residue. I do take points off for being a little too thick. Although I didn't need to use that much paper, it felt like a lot - and I was a little worried that it might clog up the pipes. That didn't happen, but every flush was said with a little hope and prayer for the plumbing. I would use this again and would be proud to have it in the guest bathroom for the most discerning of guests.

I already purchase Charmin Basic and thought that was one of the best you could get. After trying Charmin Ultra Strong, I now know there is something better out there and easy on the pocket too. With the thickness of the Ultra Strong, I don't have to use as much, making the roll last longer. Now if I can just convince the kids the same! It is still soft so no sore noses for those common cold clean ups. I definitely plan on buying more!

I recently purchased a 48 pack of Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper and when I got it home to add to my shelf I noticed right away that the rolls are significantly shorter than the previous batch. Stacked 3 high, they are 1 inch shorter than the previous pack I purchased. I when you tear off a square it is literally square now. It used to be rectangular to some degree, but now it is even smaller. I read a review and response and Charmin admitted the rolls have gotten shorter (or less wide) but have added more fibers and flexibility, etc. This may be true, but I can't tell the difference in quality when the product doesn't do its intended job anymore. It would be like a stronger bulletproof jacket, but it doesn't quite cover your heart all the way. It is no longer useful. I am completely disappointed in this product. I don't mind spending more money for quality products, but when the quality doesn't justify the price, I can't justify the purchase.
