It feels plush and they live the stars printed on it, they stick out making it a 3d effect. It's not flat! I live the muted colors because it matches with any type of color we have in our room. Vacuuming is a little difficult because of the different heights of the fibers, and the lines created by the vacuum are very visible. It seems like it should last through lots of use as it seems very well made!
