Solid pair of shorts

Nice pair of lightweight athleisure style shorts. I’m 6’1” and 190 pounds. Waist is a 33-34 and I’m wearing the large. I could probably be ok with a medium but the large works ok. Need to use the draw string. The shorts at just above knee level in length as you can see in one of the pictures.

Very comfortable

The billabong submersible shorts are very comfortable. They are flexible and have a nice feel to them. I like the fact that there are pockets, and the 2 pockets in the back have zippers to keep items secure. I’m going on a cruise in 3 weeks, and these shorts will be perfect for when we are off the ship for walking around, and going in water also.

Ready for Summer Shorts

These are great! I wear shorts every day throughout the year. This is a pair I would go to regularly. As a medium they fit just right... the leg is just above the knee. The pockets are great for a swim type short. One pocket I can only fit 3 fingers in and I'm not sure what I would use it for but the other three are great regular size. I use these for work cleaning pools or for Sunday brunch. The color is not exactly as dark as you would think. It's more of a light Gray than a solid black towards the green Gray shade. There is a slight texture to them, looks nice. I would order a pair in each color.

Counting down the days until summer!

I just got my Crossfire Submersible Shorts, and while the current weather is far too cold to actually get them out in the wild, I couldn't resist a "living room trial run." The first thing I noticed is the incredible quality. You can tell these aren't your average shorts; the fabric feels durable yet remarkably lightweight. When I tried them on, the comfort was immediate. They have the perfect amount of stretch, which I know is going to be a game-changer whether I’m hiking, hitting the water, or just grabbing lunch. The "submersible" aspect is genius—they look like a high-end hybrid short but feel like they’ll perform perfectly in the water. It’s honestly a bit of a tease having them sit in my drawer while it’s freezing outside, but I am hyped to put them to the test as soon as the sun decides to show up. If you're looking for a versatile, well-made short, these are a "buy now, thank yourself later" kind of item.

Comfortable and practical

I’m ready for some warm weather so I can wear the Billabong Crossfire Submersible shorts. They hit the sweet spot between performance and everyday wear. The 4-way stretch fabric dries quickly and breathes well, so they work just as well for a swim or a hike as they do for running errands. The fit is true to size with a relaxed, straight cut that doesn’t feel restrictive, and the chino-style pockets (including a zip back pocket) are actually useful without being bulky. The pockets are mesh for use in wet conditions. Nothing flashy, but solid build quality and versatility make these an easy go-to short for summer. They look fine with a tee or a polo and handle water days without feeling like dedicated board shorts.

Great looking inexpensive shorts

These are trendy shorts that just feel super comfortable. They fit just like a glove. I'd say they are true to size. Whether you're walking or sitting you'll have no issues. They come with good sized pockets. You can get them wet too. They dry off super fast. If you plan on jumping in the pool don't forget to take you're items out of the pockets.

Amazing

30 days now, after few washes, still look like new, good testament of quality of material and workmanship. The 4 way stretchy fabric feels great, with just the right amount of softness and weight for running and working out. For me secured pockets are must, so appreciate that

Submersible short

The shorts are perfect. Great length, quality material and the internal drawstring in extremely convenient. I appreciate the fact that the shorts have zippers on the rear pockets which allow you to store items without risking losing them. The shorts fit true to size and are durable.

Runs big, but super comfy

The shorts themselves are great. Lightweight, comfortable, but they do run big. My husband usually wears a small and it’s slightly too big. The drawstrings aren’t too great and unties easily. He still wears them because he likes them, but they do tend to be a bit big.

Crossfire Submersible Short Black, Medium

I like the look of the Billabong Crossfire Submersible Short, but they aren’t as comfortable as I expected for everyday wear. The material is lightweight and dries quickly after getting wet, which makes them good for water activities. However, the fabric feels a bit thin. Overall, they’re decent shorts, but nothing exceptional.
