They do run a bit big. She regularly wears size 10, and these are 10/12 and quite big around the waist and legs. We could probably still get away with a 7/8 in the short term.

Only negative is that they are little loud when you wear them. Other then that they fit good and they are comfortable.

They are not very thick but not see through at all and seem like they will stand up well to outdoor wear. The zipper pockets are nice and deep. I like the loose fit in the legs.
