Nice design however parts come off easy when handling. As well I had to purchace 2 to complete one as parts were missing and of different colour's when needed. This is not my first brickshop car and I have has issues with every one purchaced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hot Wheels Corvette Grand Sport puzzle has almost 1000 pieces! 918 puzzle pieces to be exact!!! This is great for a solo project, but the more the merrier is what I found to be the easier way to finish the Corvette Grand Sport!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this about 2 weeks ago. My daughter hasn't finished it and put all of the pieces away. She was getting very frustrated because the pieces don't stay together. She spent an hour going through all of the pieces and there is one missing. This surprises me because Lego has always prided itself on both of these issues. It is a cool looking model, but unfortunately, it was not completed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The model car building kit was an instant hit! It is very well designed, detailed and of great quality. It even includes a replica mini metal car. All the brick building pieces fit together snugly and securely. It also includes metal parts. Once assembled, the steering wheel actually moves the tires, and the doors and hood open. The included paper instructions are clear and easy to understand; I would consider this to be a moderately difficult level build. The vehicle is even customizable with the included stickers and parts. It is a very cool car that is fun to play with and looks great on display!

I purchased this set a couple weeks ago, and was excited to get started on the build. This Corvette is a great looking vehicle, and I was looking forward to putting it on display. Unfortunately, the building experience was terrible. Some pieces fit loosely together, others were perfect, and still others were nearly impossible to snap together. The size tolerance of the pieces is unacceptable. In addition, there were two major design flaws which almost caused me to stop and discard the entire set. Since there are many good reviews, I have to assume my set was defective. Flaw One - when the steering assembly is properly build the 2 front tires both aim in. If I attempt to straighten one wheel out, the other wheel turns in even further in. It's impossible to get both wheels straight. I unassembled and reassembled 2 more times, and the results were the same. Flaw Two - neither front wheel properly fit inside the front wheel wells. Once squeezed inside, the wheels can't be turned at all. Again, i assembled and disassembled 3 times and the results were the same. I REALLY wanted to love the Hot Wheels Brick Shop cars as they are all beautiful, but I will not purchase any more as this build was a "train wreck".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly i loved this building model. It is a beautiful American classic car to start. Following the instructions was easy. I took a little time each day to work on it. All in all it too mayne 7 or 8 hours to build all together. And it can out incredible. I absolutely love how realistic it is. Down to the details of the dashboard. It fit perfectly in my action figure display. Thank you mattel for allowing me this gift to build and review.

My son spent about six hours completing it, and overall, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Some pieces took a bit longer to connect, but the finished car looks great. The working doors and steering wheel are very cool and add a realistic touch. However, the hood and trunk weren’t operable as shown in the manual. When he tried to open them, the pieces came apart, so he left them closed. Despite that, it was a great activity and a fun build overall.

I liked the fact that the instructions were super easy to follow. I did have a little difficulty with getting the metal rims on, but other than that, it was a fun experience. I will add it with my Barbie corvette. ;)
