I was in the market for a personal freezer and when I saw the sale pop up I couldn't pass on it. I was concerned about how loud it might be, but it's surprisingly quiet! There was a slight humming noise when it was first turned on, but eventually went away. It does make a small noise when it kicks on occasionally, but nothing major. The shelf is removable which is good for larger items. Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone in search of extra storage for a small room/dorm.

A good small freezer

I love my little freezer! It's wonderful!

So I bought this to keep downstairs to freeze water bottle for an ice machine needed post knee replacement surgery. For that sursgery you need to constantly ice and elevete your knee/leg hence the ice machine. You fill it with some water and place 6 frozen water bottles in it....there is a pad that wraps around your knee and then it pumps the frozen/cold water thru it into the pad. Granted I froze 12 water bottles and it took 2 days to freeze them...hoping it was cuz it is new. not cold yet and the water bottles were all room temp and I put them all in at the same time. Need to swap out the water bottles every 6 hours or so. I hope when the thawed ones get swapped out and go back to the freezer. it does not take 2 days to freeze again. Not sure about food cuz I bought this specifically for the frozen water botttles. Not sure if this review will change or not. It took so long at first I thought it was not working and was going to have to return it days before surgery and try to find something else. But they finally froze and hope it contiues to do so....faster. i put that I would recommend it but if it continues to take a long time to freeze things that might change.
