But they are just as absorbent as the other ones I have and I love them! I highly recommend these. Cute 100% cotton Valentine themed dish towels. Usually when I purchase dish towels they only come with 2 or three towels, but this set comes with 8. My wife was thrilled with the design and is very happy with them. Being cotton they are soft and absorbent. I haven't washed them yet so I am unsure as to their ability to keep their original color. These are the cutest set of hand towels. They are thick, colorful and absorb well! I've got them in the kitchen and the bathroom and have already washed them twice a the color is still very vibrant! You get 8 in the pack with a good variety of designs.

I liked the different patterns in this set, however several of the prints are sewn and the others are color printed. The cloths that are seen with designs are much softer where as the printed color designs are less soft and less absorbing of liquid spills. Overall I think they will hold up well, especially the cloths that are sewn with designs.
