This set is a blast — easy to put together and a total win for any Mario Kart or Hot Wheels fan. Just know going in that it only includes one Mario Kart car; grab the 4-car set separately to really complete it. The one hiccup is the launcher mechanism. Two out of every ten launches, the car either stalls or gets stuck on the ramp instead of flying out like it should. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you've got a kid who's going to get frustrated with it.

Honestly not great for how much you pay. Sure it's big and it looks cool but it doesn't work. The mechanism used to launch the cars only works 5% of the time. Honestly really disappointed in this. This was supposed to be my son's “Big Gift” and it absolutely sucked. Honestly better off just getting your kid robux or something.

Ok so I bought this for my 4 1/2 year old grandson what a disappointment!!!!! The ejection button is complete garbage which is supposed to send the car into and out of the loop This does not work!!!!! What a waste of money and shame on You Mattel you knew it had problems but went for the cash grab for the holidays I will not be buying from Mattel in the future there are plenty of toy mfg’s out there I don’t need to waste my money on your defective junk!!!!

This is a total rip-off. It doesn't work properly at all. You have to turn the carts backwards to get them to launch and then the carts make it through the loop 10% of the time. The bullet doesn't trigger at all. My son was super disappointed when he started playing with this. Wish we never would have wasted the money on buying this for him for Christmas.

Opened Christmas morning, assembled, literally couldn't get the car it came with to go around once. There's not enough power on the launcher. I read this on other reviews but decided to roll the dice. Absolutely garbage and my kid is sad about their present. We are done with hot wheels tracks, they never work, ever. Such a disappointment on Christmas and this was supposed to be his big present. Please recognize a lot of the reviews are incentivized and many state they are pleased about the shipping but have not opened the product. The rating is skewed. Don't rate Walmart shipping, rate the product. Man, just so disappointed for my little guy. Will be returning.

almost impossible for young kids to launch this past the first loop-de-loop. even as an adult it took me probably 30 tries to get it to go around the first loop so it can do the track. it does not have a learning curve as the difficulty remained no matter how many times we tried over the weeks that we kept it.

this track is so hard to get going. the pedal to push down sucks. we have had 4 adults and 3 kids try to make it take off to go around the loop de loop castle thing. it also broke 3 heads on the Mario cart hot wheel cars (bought separately) so disappointed.

The track looks amazing, and the idea of it is great BUT does not work. Even adults can't apply the right pressure to actually have a car successfully make it around the track. Total Christmas bust for my boys. Disappointed, don't waste your money like we did.

Wish this was a mechanical hotwheels track. The launch pad is nearly impossible to hit hard enough for the car to not only go up the loop, but stay on the track. The track itself is nifty, but the execution was terrible. We will be returning this since my son isn't able to properly launch the cars and he was instantly bored/annoyed with it.

This was the big Christmas gift for my 5-year-old, who loves Mario Kart and Hot Wheels. The box looks amazing with the massive Bowser’s Castle, giant loop, slam launcher, and the included Kamek kart – we were so excited to set it up. Assembly was okay and doable. The problems started immediately when we tried racing. The slam launcher is the worst part: you have to hit it incredibly hard to get enough speed for the car to make it through the track, but 99% of the time, the kart just goes flying off right away – it derails before even reaching the loop! If you don’t slam it hard enough, it barely moves and gets stuck immediately. Then, even on the rare times it stays on, the Bullet Bill swoops in randomly and knocks it off, or it gets jammed at the fire gate or kid-powered lift. We spent Christmas morning constantly resetting, picking up the car from the floor, and trying again – way more frustration than fun. My kid ended up in tears because nothing worked. It’s advertised for ages 5 , but no 5-year-old (or even most adults) has the patience and timing needed. Total waste of money – avoid this one or return if you can.
