Upgraded from the series 8 and I love it. More capability, similar to the ultimate without the ungodly large display. I also ordered it online through my AT&T app for the first time and I don't think I'll order another device in store again. It was a quick, easy, and painless transaction.

I personally purchased this watch to watch my carbohydrate intake, knowing that I'm 63 years young, so I don't overdo my carbs. (They) say that the older you get the slower you burn off your calories. I exercise 5 days a week, for about an hour, particularly my core area. And as a truck mechanic, I wear my watch between my elbow, and my bicep, so incase something happens I can call for assistance. I usually work alone. Unfortunately I had to order an aftermarket Velcro XL wrist strap, just so I can wear it out of the way of it getting damaged, or dirty, and knowing if someone is trying to get ahold of me, because I don't carry my iPhone on me, when I'm working period.

The batter lasts all day with no worries, also a big improvement. 46mm is a good size for a small to medium wrist, if you're a big guy then the Ultra version is a better choice imo.

Just some upgrades to the specs that make it function a little bit faster / smoother. Useful if you want to track activities, workouts, etc. Get the cellular version if you want connectivity away from your phone.

The screen size is a nice improvement as well as the display. All in all you can't go wrong with this watch.

Modern sleek looking easy to read watch but It is NOT tough like garmin or G shock ! Brands Which i am a die hard for. The strap from apple is cheap and not to be trusted in certain environments Such as backcountry or ocean Prepare to upgrade to a more reliable “strap w clasp” The ULTRA apple sports version was not comparable or tough like G SHOCK or garmin -so i choose this fir daily activity. Watch battery is poor and is reminiscent to Phones needing daily charging -not reliable in backwoods or off grid tracks. . overall a decent “tool “ watch w health apps and music blood pressure. Oxygen levels Would recommend for most people But again u must upgrade to a heavy duty secure strap and not trust that “ pop in the hole type band!

Watch integrates with electronic smart drive for my son's wheelchair. He can control the speed, acceleration, start and stop using his watch. He can also track how many pushes he does per day and calories burned. Watch is also great in case he falls out of his wheelchair, we can be notified. He got the cellular version in case he forgets to take his phone with him.
