This is a beautiful, lightweight wrap dress that works perfectly for warm weather and can easily transition into year-round wear in humid climates like Florida.
What I love most is that it is a true wrap style. The dress features long wrap ties on both sides, allowing you to secure it by threading one side through the interior opening and wrapping it around the waist—no zippers or buttons required. It creates a very customizable and flattering fit at the waist.
The “belt loops” can initially feel a bit confusing in terms of placement, but they are not necessary to use. Personally, I prefer to forgo the loops entirely and simply wrap the dress directly at my natural waist for a cleaner, more streamlined look.
One important note is sizing: I strongly recommend choosing your size based on the widest part of your body. I ordered a medium in red. While it does fit my chest, it is just at the limit—any smaller would have been too tight. If you are fuller in the chest, you may want to consider sizing up for comfort and coverage. I am also considering slightly adjusting the internal fastening point upward for added security and modesty in the bust area.
On my 5’0” frame, it falls to mid-shin, which is a lovely midi length, though I may tailor a few inches for proportion.
My main priority was ensuring proper fit and coverage in the bust, and I would emphasize this for others as well—choose the size that accommodates your largest measurement, and the dress will drape beautifully.
Overall, this dress is elegant, slightly retro-inspired, and incredibly versatile. It can be dressed up or down with ease and is flattering on a variety of body types. It is a timeless piece that feels both polished and feminine.
