It would be a great item for someone who lives alone. We are a family of 6 with no carpet in our home. So the cost of regular use with this as our primary way to vacuum or mop is a bit much. But it's fantastic for the small daily clean ups between regular cleanings. The light on the front makes it really easy to spot dust and the swivel head allows it to get in every nook and corner. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. It comes with disposable replacement pads but I will be looking to see if washable ones are available. The cleaning solution that works with this is also really good. It left no weird residue and dried quickly. Overall, I was really impressed with how well this worked and held a charge. I would definitely recommend it.
