Put a little or more into the cap and toss it into the washer before you put your laundry. You don't need to put any liquid softener. It is great for any type of clothing and towels, lasting fresh scent, and is safe for all colors and fabrics. I love how my clothes smell and soft!

My only complaint is that it is not cheap. I guess the old adage about getting what you pay for is mostly true. My daughter threw up shortly after getting these, when I washed her sheets I put these in the wash and OMG it completely got rid of the smell. Normally some lingers but not with these!!
