Avoid this blender, quality not as good as the ones before. This will only last you less than 12 months.

I have only used this to make hummus, since hummus is thicker it takes some time to get it blended smoothly.

I am amazed at what a great job this does in breaking down the fibers. I have made wonderful smooth smoothies over and over again!
