Time to move to vitamix

Really bummed, I think we are going to have to switch to Vitamix. I can't justify spending any more money on this. We just had our 4th nutribullet break. The clear piece that connects the cup to the base shattered while it was being used. Really scary since I was holding my 10 month old daughter when it happened. We've had this one for only about a year. The cup only had 4 frozen strawberries, a handful of frozen mango, spinach, banana and almond milk in it. It shouldn't have broken. I would give this less than a star if I could.

Cant open

If you want to struggle with opening your blender half the time, then get the nutri bullet! If you want to make a mess while making a smoothie, then get the nutribullet. Honestly, this is a terribly designed blender. It works good, but it is designed horribly to be messy and to not open half the time. This device is not recommended. Get a normal blender. One that actually opens. This one sucks.

Great so far

Just got this for Christmas and used only a few times. So far the unit works great! I blend frozen fruits, seeds, nuts, protein powder and almond milk. An awesome healthy breakfast! The unit cleans up real fast and easy, just rinse the blades and hand wash the cup. Dishwashers tend to break down utensils quicker. If I encounter problems in the future, I will re-post a new review. No problems in the first week, works great..powerful too.

Wonderful smoothies

Bought this in December and have enjoyed it ever since! Most of what I do is fruit smoothies for any time of day and have absolutely loved the effectiveness of the blades to emulsify everything I add! It is great for workout recovery smoothies! There's even an included booklet on suggested types of smoothies along with the order of putting everything into the cups before mulching. I also like the different size cups that it has in the set. Definitely worth buying! The only negative is it's a little difficult to clean the blades. Everything is dishwasher safe except the blades and the machine itself.

A blender not for lifetime

I bought nutribullet almost 5 years ago at very expensive price $250. It worked really well for 3 years indeed. But now the black kind of liquid has started coming out of rotor, it also gets into the smoothies I make. When I wash the cap, the black liquid start to come out and can’t get rid of it, no matter how many times you wash it. The cap doesn’t close properly anymore and spills the contents out. Using my mums 10 year old blender which still works well.

Love the ease of the Nutribullet

We got our nutribullet for Christmas and have had a delicious, nutritious and easy smoothie every day since. So easy to 'chuck in' whatever you've got and turn it into something nice. I've never eaten so much fruit and I definitely feel better for it. My only complaint is that no matter how much you tighten it when you screw in the blades, it gradually comes undone whilst pulsing, and after 4 pulses it starts to leak into the bottom of the unit. I would suggest it is redesigned with a lock feature to prevent this. This spillage is more tricky to clean up than anything else. Also I wish there were no ridges inside the container as it makes it difficult to scrape out the last bit of thicker smoothies which I see as a waste. Otherwise, brilliant so far...

Good Single Serve Blender

I got this about a month ago. I was replacing a magic bullet I had used for years. This is a good blender. A few things to be aware of, the cup of this blender is much bigger than that of a magic bullet or even most cps/water bottles. That means when I take it to work each day it is much larger to take with me. Also the travel lid on it means that I don't have a handle so dropping is much more common. The other thing I immediately noticed was that I was expecting a super smooth, things don't get stuck in my teeth kind of smooth, and it was more of a, there will be visible flecks of chia seed, kale leaves or blueberry skins, but it is definitely drinkable.

Blends spinach like a champ!

I've had my NutriBullet for a couple of months now and love it! I drink a smoothie every day for breakfast - it blends my protein powder, frozen fruit and spinach like a champ. At first I hated how big the cups were but over time have been adding additional ice/water to my smoothies and have noticed that i feel fuller longer without adding additional calories.

Great little blender

We upgraded from the Magic Bullet to the nutribullet 900 and it’s great! I like the bigger sized containers now that there are more mouths to feed. So far it has pulverized everything we put in there. No more frozen chunks in our smoothies! We haven’t tried anything crazy though, mostly frozen fruit, spinach, etc for smoothies. We specifically chose this blender because it works like the magic bullet, you can walk away from it while it’s blending, you don’t have to hold it down like I read other blenders require.
