NutriBullet app doesn’t work very well

I just bought but will be returning the NutriBullett as the key selling point is the app to use when making recipe and tracking calories, sugars, carb etc.. The app has significant issues so accurate information isn’t available. If you build a recipe and don’t actually consume it there is not way to remove the entry. If you add a recipe to you app it adds the calories as if you consumed it. If you do use the delete feature it delineates the recipe and ALL instances of that recipe. I called NutriBullet and was told the issue would be escalated to the programmers. That yes, I was right the app was buggy and had issues. Then I looked at App Store reviews appears these issues have been known for a long time. If you are going to track something you need to provide a way to edit, delete and correct mistakes to keep the data/information correct. This app doesn’t do that.

I am in a love/hate relationship

I use this 1 or two times every day (NutriBullet PRO), I follow the instructions on how to juice properly and not burn the motor out and sometimes it works great, sometimes it ruins my whole day. I bought this in December 2015, I had to take it back and replace it at the end of February because the motor died. Half the time it spills the juice out of the container while I'm juicing (no matter how careful or tight I put the lid on). I mean, I love having it and shop for spinach and fresh fruits and veggies every shopping trip, but how frustrating to be getting ready for work at 6 am, put the Nutri to work and then spend 10 minutes cleaning everything that spills out of the container half the time. I am not overfilling or overstuffing it, I just don't know if I got two lemons or what, but half the time I LOVE it, and half the I HATE it. ARGGHHHH

Doesn’t last for daily use

We make one smoothie per and found that this unit gets incredibly loud after a short time and then seizes. When it works it’s great which is why we are on our third one in just over a year. It will be our last for sure. We will strive to find one that works well but lasts.

Works Well But Has A Couple Design Flaws

I’ve made some great smoothies with this thing over the last few months. I only had it seize up once when I put too much ice in it. However, it does have a few flaws. If you forget to add something, then you have to remove the blade cap and clean it off before putting it back on. Additionally, the cap loosens up when you activate it. You have to retighten it occasionally, or it will leak. If if leaks into the base, it’s not easy to clean up.

More Praise then Complaints

I waited quite a bit before leaving my review, I did not want to be a consumer who bought something and gave it a great review; just to have something happen and wish I had not posted. In my opinion (for whatever it is worth), this is a good little machine. I make (2) pitchers, large enough to last two weeks (16oz. from each container, twice per day); so doing this it is a lot to run through it at one time. I find that for me it tends to overheat, it will automatically shut down until it cools down, because of this my rest time between "large" cups to be chopped is a little longer. BUT, if you are not mixing "large" quantities you will be just fine. I have chopped: seeds, EVERY fruit I could think of (one of my 16oz. cups is spinach & fruit based, and the other is spinach & vegetable based). Saying that, I have put ALL leafy products through it, and many other vegetables (onions, carrots, celery, peppers, cucumbers {fyi, cucumbers tend to foam up and fill cup with froth so break up in doses}). Not sure what else to say....it was worth the cost, and yes if this one goes I would buy another one. P.s., if you use it the way it is intended you "should" not have any issues, the only compliant you might have is that the lid is tough to get off, just unscrew slowly, from the mixing process it is under a little pressure, I usually spray myself green. Hope that gives you some insight :-)

Best performance and value for the price

I've had mine for months and it's held up great. It has a powerful motor and it comes with a slew of useful accessories. What I wanted was a powerful blender that would grind down kale and spinach into smooth, non-palpable pieces. This does the job - as long as you don't add too much liquid. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Love It!!

I bought my NutriBullet a little over a month ago and have used it 2-4 times a day EVERYDAY. It works wonderfully. My husband and I drink a smoothie for breakfast and dinner that gives us our vitamins and greens (I am NOT a veggie eater so this gives me my daily nutrients). I'm so glad I went with this brand of "blender".

Ease of use

The end results are wonderful. I truly enjoy using the NutriBullet. The only problem I have is - it has gotten hard to start. I find it has gotten hard to push down to start the machine. It was very easy when I first purchased it, but now, not so much. I hope that because I have to push down really hard that this won't break the Bullit..........

I EAT MORE GREENS!

This thing works great and helps me to eat (drink) more leafy greens than I ever could in salads. It makes great smoothies and cold treats with frozen fruit as well. Cleaning is super easy too. We just rinse off the blade immediately after use and only occasionally use a sponge with soap. We are very happy with it!

Exactly what I needed... Almost

I love my new NutriBullet PRO for my smoothies. (I am not a fruit person and this is a convenient way for me to sneak fruit into my protein shakes, I am also adding kale and spinach now too.) It blends perfectly! Now, here is the only downfall I can find. I wish it had a bigger "blender" accessory like the original bullet had. It would give me the option to add more liquid, fruit, veggies, etc. easier than taking it off the base, removing the blade, adding, putting the blade back on, reblending.
