The Rest-and-Romp Play Yard is a wonderful baby product for anyone looking for baby gear with multiple functions. The bassinet color (dunes edge) looks even better out of the box. The "wooden" legs are actually metal with a wooden look allowing them to be lighter weight but still sturdy. I love how easy everything was to assemble/disassemble and covert from bassinet to play yard. Being able to quickly flip the legs from rocker to stationary is also nice when dealing with a fussy baby who needs gentle rocking. I was immediately impressed with this item and just wished that it came with a travel bag or carrying case. It folds up incredibly small and would be great for those dealing with small spaces or for taking on vacations. *thank you safety 1st for providing this item for honest review*

To start, I love that there's a whole line of Safety First products. I started with getting one of their travel systems in that color specifically because I loved the color scheme, and had used Safety First baby products in the past. So when I found they had a bassinet as well, I was super excited. It's different that many of the other bedside style bassinets out there in that the legs have a rocker shape to them. So it's more like the classic cradle style bed for babies. It's deeper than a bedside style bassinet as well. I love this style and that they've gone with a more classic design rather than the modern bassinet that's shallower and with the drop down sides. Safety First has become an overall favorite of mine when it comes to baby/kids products. They have found a great way to blend both the classic looks with modern designs. It's hard to find anything about their products I don't love!

This is so much bigger than I expected and I'm obsessed. So much room from both sleep and play but sleeve enough to fit next to bedside. The bottom opens to create a bigger space for play or for a bigger baby to sleep. I'm planning on using this now through our 2024 camping season as of is perfect for our tent size but also comes apart easily for easy transporting. My 7 month old fell asleep in it so easily and loved playing in it as well. I'm a Mama to 5 and this is the best bassinet/ Play yard I've EVER had.

I consider myself an experienced parent! I have baby number three now. My baby is two months old and I am so happy I have this Rest and Romo play yard! I love that I can easily carry it throughout my house. I work from home and I love how my baby can sleep in this cute crib right text to me, and I can rock her while still typing at my computer! I only need my right foot to do so?? I really wish I had this yard play with my first babies! Compared to other yard plays this one is very lightweight and babies just live sleeping in it!!

After having our first baby we wanted to try out another bassinet to see if there were better options out there. One of the first improvements we noticed right away with the Safety 1st US Rest-and-Romp Play Yard was the additional space this bassinet offers compared to the one we used for our first child. Now while we do consider this a benefit, depending on the temperament of the child, extra space could be an issue if they thrash and put themselves in positions they ought not be in. It also has an inclination to rock back and forth more than we are comfortable with. Regardless it offers sturdy protection and is perfectly spacious for our needs. We would certainly buy a product such as this. The beige and light brown colors on this one particularly are a personal preference of ours. Assembly was a breeze!

The quality of the product is really nice. It looks like a top brand with the wood printing on the metal. A great neutral fabric for the finish makes it feel high class too. The rocking on carpet is awkward. Could be less clunky on hard wood. We aren't sound machine people but the location of that is nice being right there and not needing an extra table to put something on. The music is soothing to my newborn. I'm excited to try the drop playpen as I have a 2 year old I might need to keep LO safe from but he is brand new and too little to need that function. Only thing I wish it did was a side dropped for co-sleeping BUT it is lower than our bed height wise and works well enough as a bassinet to grab from in the night. Do like how easy it is to maneuver around the house as it's not heavy. Great flexibility for our busy days. Would recommend.

We received this Rest-and-Romp Play Yard for free to test and review it. My daughter was 5 months old when we received it and wakes up frequently during the night. The bassinet was easy to assemble and looks great. We have been using it for about 3 weeks now and my daughter loves the rocking feature. When she is about to wake up I rock her gently and she goes right back to sleep. This has made nighttime so much easier for us. When we need more room it easily folds and can be put in storage. The play yard is also a great feature. It allows my daughter to play in a safe space and I can see her through the breathable mesh anytime. This way we have both baby items (bassinet and play yard) in one.

This was super easy to put together overall and no tools required for the actual bassinet. You will need one to put batteries in the sound machine. This is very nice looking and appealing. We use it in our living room for nap time. The rocking is very jerky but has stoppers.

I currently have twins who utilized this product. Both were comfortable in it for their naps. This product has many uses and was easy to transport to different places in the house if necessary. We have baby number three coming late January's bc I can't wait to use this for her as well! Love it for the price!

The Rest and Romp playyard really exceeded my expectations. It's lightweight and folds so flat. Perfe t to have at grandparent's or babysitter's house. I love the neutral design. I would definitely recommend this bassinet. I'm happy I was able to try it out
