My kids love these things, keeps them occupied for hours allowing them to use their imagination rather than stare at a screen.

Purchase for gifts to students. Hopefully, will evoke some creative juices.

We just opened these and so far, they seem to work fine. I bought for my two little girls and liked how it came with a tether to attach the pen to the drawing board (they have lost the pens to previous ones).. however it is absolutely to get the tether string in the tiny loop holes provided on the pen. While trying to get them out of the box. I had to use a knife to get the box ripped open and scratched up one of the cases. Other than that, they seem to work fine for now!

It stopped working within the first hour. I changed the batteries it worked for around 20 min. and stopped working again.

I bought this for my niece and nephew's birthdays (3 and 2 years old). One of the sketch pads worked great. The other one died in the first 5 minutes of taking it out of the box. Tried replacing the battery and still didn't work. I immediately went back to Sam's who were more than willing to exchange this. I bought another 2 pack because the kids loved the idea of this and were devestated when one died. Got the new sketch pads home, and immediately out of the package one didn't work. Didn't turn on. Nothing. Again. 2 and 3 year old devestation and an Auntie who feels terrible buying them JUNK. This isn't a Sam's problem but a my First cheap production problem. I would have given this zero stars if able. I will be returning and purchasing better quality sketch pads NOT from myFirst.

Cheap. Then pen holder broke within minutes of it being opened. The stick adhesive for the case doesn't stay sticky.
